Sunaina is still having her dance duel and Sumer is still having his sword fight with Kundan. The girl dancing against Sunaian looses her balance and gets it back. Kundan pushes Sumer to the floor and he gets up and kicks him to the floor. The girl with Sunaina looses her ghunghru and Sunaina dances around her as she stopped. Sumer continues to fight and disarms Kundan. Sunaina wins he dance duel and Sumer wins his fight and they are congratulated.
Kundan stops Sumer and tells him that he was lucky and he will defeat him and Sumer says he'll wait for that day. The girl with Sunaina (Uttara) says that she'll teach Sunaina a lesson. Sunaina gives her back her Ghunghru as a memory of her loss and Uttara snatches it from her. Sunaina's friends talk about Uttara in her room, while she looks in her cupboard and drops something. They ask about her cupboard and what she hides. She says she hasn't hid anything and her friends go to leave and Sunaina stops them and shows them her Payal (from Sumer). Sumer's friends praises Sumer. Madhav (a postman friend guy) comes in and gives everyone some letters and then goes over to Sumer to give him a letter. Sumer tells him to put it in his cupboard and a load of letters fall out. Madhav and his friend ask him why he hasn't looked at these letter and if he doesn't remember anyone and he says he does remember someone.
Sunaina remembers Sumer through his gifted Payal and he talks to her picture wanting to meet her. Sunaina still loves Sumer and Sumer feels the same and can't forget her. Sunaina remembers him a lot but waits to meet him. Sumer says he will marry her soon infront of Natraj. Sumer's mother talks to a photo of him when he was little. She then sees his illusion and then he disappears. Uday comes and Gayatri asks if he has his letter. Uday refuses to having his letter and Gayatri says he forgot to write him a letter. Uday makes her understand. Gayatri is upset and Uday says they'll meet him soon after he finishes his studies.
Sunaina's friend, Ratna, tells Sunaina that he might have forgotten her and Sunaina denies that. Ratna says she should have told him before and Sunaina says she doesn't like anyone joking. Ratna says she can take Sunaina to Dilbarshah ka Darbar, where nobody leaves empty handed. Sumer's friends says a poem and another friend tells him to go and get some food. Sumer says he doesn't want to go. His friend says they might get some information about Sunaina there. Sumer sets out on horse with his friends and they meet Sunaina and Ratna on a chariot thing, but they don't see each other.
