The episode opens with Chandini applying a bandage to Beeji's foot while she is sleeping. She is replaying the events of the kabbadi match in her mind and silently cursing herself for deliberately losing. She thinks of Vidya falling and hurting her arm, Beeji limping in pain and Mukund falling down. She says to herself that she was selfish. Her ulterior motive for joining India calling was to find her Mini didi and she was scared that if she wins the match, Adi will make life in India Calling a living hell for her. Thinking of all this, she is shedding tears. Beeji wakes up and is trying to console her saying it is ok if she lost. Chandini tells her that, 'no Beeji, God knows I did a very unfair thing. My teammates worked so hard and I had to lose the match because I didn't want to lose my job. Now I can't face anyone. She is crying on Beeji's shoulder when Prem ( Vidya's husband ) cuts into the conversation. He is furious with Chandini and tells her that my foolish wife Vidya played her heart out for this match and now she has even bought you food. This is what you do in return. In anger, he leaves the room. Chandini and Beeji runs after him. Prem shouts to Vidya ( everybody else in the chawl come out of their houses )that from now on you don't have to do anything for Chandini. She is just a selfish girl who has used us all. Chandini pleads with him to listen to her, but he just goes on. He tells Chandini that everybody got hurt, that he took a day off from work just to play in the match and Beeji hurt her foot badly before the match, but still we all played for you. Mukund's mother asks what the fuss is all about. Chandini tells her that it is all my fault. I lost the match deliberately because I didn't want to lose my job. You guys don't know what sort of trouble I have had to face in the office because of Adi. If I had won the match, then Adi wouldn't have tolerated it and he would kick me out. Vidya is of the opinion that they should all teach him a lesson. Mukund suggests that he take one or two people and go and beat up Adi. Chandini thanks him and tells him that is not necessary. Anyway if she doesnt crack the deal by today, she will be out. With folded handed, she says sorry to everybody in the chawl and leaves crying.
Next scene, she enters the office slowly, prays to Matharani and answers a call, but is unable to crack the deal. One of the office boys comes and tells her that she is wanted by Kamini maam and warns her that the atmosphere is garam.
Kamini is sitting in her office with Adi in front of her reading a magazine. She is firing someone on the phone when Chandini walks in. Kamini tells Chandini that when will you small town girls realize that just by coming to big cities, your pride will go up. See what happened in the Kabaddi match. You lost badly. She then throws an envelope on the desk and informs Chandini that it is her resignation letter. If she doesn't crack a deal by that day, she should sign on the papers and never ever show her face in India calling. Seeing Chandini's crest fallen face, she says don't do all this drama. We are not paying you in India calling to do gupshup and drink coffee in the canteen. She tells Chandini to get out after taking her letter.
In tears, Chandini comes back to her desk. She places the letter in front of the Matharani idol and tells her that " I started my journey from Jalandhar to Bombay by telling your name. Now I have placed this letter at your feet. Now only you can decide my destiny." She wipes her tears and puts on her headphones. She takes the next call. Adi is passing by and he stops to listen. The caller is a guy and he starts flirting with Chandini asking her if her name is Catty or Cathy and teasingly asks her to make up her mind. Chandini then thinks to herself that deal or no deal, she is not Cathy, but Chandini. She says hello and the man asks her if she made up her mind. Chandini says that yes I have made my choice, I am not Cathy but Chandini. Everybody who is listening is stunned, including Adi. Smitha says from the back, have you gone mad. Varun comes up to her and says that she should not reveal her name as it is against the rules. The caller asks if Chandini is an Indian and she says yes. Chandini continues and says, My parents gave me my name and I am proud of my culture ( the strains of Saare Jahan Se Acchha is playing in the background! ) and I respect your culture too. The man is pleased with her patriotic attitutude and asks her for the price of the product. CHANDINI HAS CRACKED THE DEAL! The title song plays as she jumps up and down in sheer happiness and dances all around the place when she catches sight of Adi. She just smiles and turns her head away. Adi continues staring at her and is thinking of what his brother told him that Chandini lost the match deliberately because she didn't want him to look bad in front of everyone. Chandini prays to the idol and smiles.

Prashanth congratulates Chandini, but she ignores him and walks past him. Some girl ( I think her name is Ami because another member of this group mentioned her ) is sitting with Varun and Smitha and she asks Chandini to call Kamini. I think maybe this girl will be Chandini's friend. Chandini happily informs that she has cracked the deal to a stunned Kamini. Then they also show a canteen scene where Chandini and Adi are looking at each other.
It's a wild guess. But I think this new girl is related to Kamini ( probably her younger sister or something ) and Kamini has designs of getting her hooked up with Adi. She and Chandini become friends. But Adi falls in love with Chandini and it will ultimately become a triangle. Just a thought. What do you say guys????
