HEY GUYS,
Its really terrible over here in pakistan that Star plus is banned so v cant see KA or any other serial,
well i even called my cable operator and asked him abt the lift of the ban, he said that MOST PROBABLY IT LL B BACK IN 10 DAYS,
But i got an article , so i m posting main pints from that:
ISLAMABAD: Pemra Chairman Iftikhar Rashid has said that the ban on those foriegn channels will continue which negate our social, cultural and religious values.
Pemra chairman said that at present 10 STAR Channels were being shown in Pakistan. "STAR got five- year liscense from PTA in 2000 for 500,000. This license expired in last September after which they offered RS. 2000,000 for the license but we made it clear to them that we will recieve seperate fee for every Star channel. Now STAR has deposited fee for 9 channels and they have been given five- year license for Rs.1.27 crore. He said that they had asked Star Plus to create balance in their programmes and project Pakistani culture.
