Part1:

Sitting in the beautiful hermitage of father Valmiki, sita silently revives her happy days that were by gone not so soon.

The life moves on in the hermitage, she participates in the asrama activities but some where , she is the manifestation of pain now. Her movement, her body, her face everything shows the deep pain and the mark of her sacrifice.

One day Valmiki notices this and tries to console her.Stolen from india forums

Sita opens her mind to him and says she misses Ayodhya very much. But Valmiki said,

A part of your sacrifice is to forget the life at Ayodhya and to make your husband happy for the decision he was forced to take. Why did you leave Ayodhya if you cannot drive it out of your mind. So if you r still thinking of Ayodhya, he will also miss you and will be miserable.

If you are so sad and miserable all the time, it will affect your unborn children too. For the sake of your children, you should be happy and be at peace. If you are always hopeless and sad, your children will always be sad and dispirited

Sita resolves to bring her strength back and asks him to give her strength to remain strong as she was when she took he decision.

Mother Kaushlaya, Kaikeyi , Bharat and Laxman are entertaining king Janaka. They request him to have his lunch. But Janaka is determined to see ram and sita first. He has arrived with the wish to congratulate them personally and he says he will not be in peace until he does so..

Laxman also decided to accompany him when he gets ready to meet ram.

Laxman tries to signal ram that Janak is coming so that he can get prepared, so he requests Janaka if he can wait for a second and Laxman will notify ram. But Janaka is too eager. To him, the four brothers are just like sita and Urmilla so naturally he doesn't think any formal greeting is at all necessary.

Janaka goes ahead and sees tragic seen. His dearest son in law is sitting on a Kushasan and is extremely sad.

He asks where is sita. Ram is forced to break the news of her Vanvas to him.

Janaka is furious. He demands why none of them stopped her.

Part2:

Sita is working hard with other ladies of the asrama, when malini comes and asks her to take some rest. As she is no longer alone, she must think of her children and take rest to make sure no harm is done to them

However, maili addresses sita as Vandevi still.

Sita smiles and refuses to rest. She says:

I want to give birth to strong , beautiful and hardworking children. If I take too much rest, my children will also be lazy, wont they?

As she is collecting dry branches, she over hears some wood cutters diatribe about Shree ram and her banishment. She is angry and silently thinks, what they will understand of her lord's justice.

At this point , malini asks her to return back.

Even she discusses and says how ram is wrong. Now sita says:

Everyone blames king Ram, maybe it was queen sita who wanted to go, maybe king ram didn't want her to leave the palace at all.

Mallini:

If you say so, it must be so. Our king is justice embodied. But queen sita is not less in renunciation and sacrifice I must say.

Back in Ayodhya:

Janaka has heard the full story. He says:

A father always loves amd adores her daughters. So my fathers heart will never forgive you. But as a king, whatever you did, I support you. For a king, nothing is bigger than his duty as a king.

R:

What duty is it that makes a king abandon his wife , alone and helpless.

J: my son, my daughter may be alone but not helpless. She has her truth with her. Her religion with her. She is strong by the strength of those two.

But now I am in a dilemma.how can I inform this to my wife, queen sunayana?

R:

Do not worry father. I will go along with you and explain her everything.

In mithila, queen sunayana is informed by her attendants about the whole ffair. She cannot bear the shock and faints down.

Part3:

The chariot bearing ram, Janak , Laxman and Sumantra advances when the are stopped by a band of women. They openly demand that Ram should bring back sita and also charge him with the questions what was her fault.

It seems the whole country is now raving with rage at this banishment of Sita and everyone now points their fingers at Ram and accuses him.

Back in Mithilas palace, when this news is brought to Sita's mother she laments.

[Hum ladies, instead of pointing fingers at your king, may be you should have reformed your fathers, brothers and husbands]

The days are going like this. Ram has to withstand the negative impact of his subjects and he does it without speaking a word, and sita and ram spend their day thinking of the other and the cruel play of destiny that separated them.

Now, ram's chariot stood surrounded by a group of angry women who refused to let him pass by.

Ram dissuades his soldiers and even Laxman from doing anything.

Then king janka steps up.

He says:

You just lost your queen, but look at me, I lost my daughter. But still I think my son-in-law was right. Whatever he did, was not done by a man, but by and for the duty of a king to his subjects and land. May be I would have done the same thing if I was in his place. So please, stop blaming your king, who thinks nothing but your welfare. Think wisely and then judge him.

The ladies bow their heads and slowly make way for the chariot.

Thanks for the update, but I was confused by the precap. Sita visits her mother in Mithila? How? Or do they mean by memory or something?😕

It looked to me like they were entering Mithila, and were confronted by Mithila women. Or else, why would Janak need to say anything - Rama was far closer to the people of Ayodhya, including women, than Janak was.

but why would any one in mithila call sita HUMARA Maharani? she was their beti! they will say humare beti!
and besides the chariot was about to leave, i think it was when the chariot was leaving ayodhya towards mithila
and as it is, the women always supported sita and also that other poor women, it was mainly men who did the slandering!
