hey guys!!!!!!
though the sita vanvaas scene was great.......
but i felt it was not as powerful and emotional as the vanvaas scene of ramji, sitaji and lakshmanji....
the song also used earlier was really awesome and really brought tears in my eyes.....
moreover...where was hanumanji in this scene..thogh i dont know whats written in the original epic but i have seen in all the ramayan movies...that during sita vanvaas scene...hanumanji is present there and is trying to convince ramji that watever u r doing is wrong.....
but i dont know why he is not present in this show....
wat say?????

Yeah me too I loved the old ramayan vanvaas scene. I think the script flowed more smoothly there. Here it felt it was a bit choppy.

Ok I loved the parting dialogues from Sita to Ram in the old Ramayan Serial. What wonderful wisdom she bestowed on Ram and consoling him, and that advice about a role of woman was just not for then but applies in today world. I thought it was a very powerful scene, the way they talked about their eternal union. Sita's vow before her ancestors was also brilliant, and her final goodbye wow and the song does bring tears in your eyes the way Ram was looking after her. Even though they changed the Valmiki version, I thought that scene was shot sooooo brilliantly that no one could have complained that neither Ram or Sita didn't stay true to their character and what they represent to this world.

I wish they had Sita say something consoling to Ram. Because it seems like Ram in this version even more heart broken so he could have used some of his wife's wisdom. Poor Guy.

Without doubt, the acting of Gurmeet and Debina is excellent. They've really outdone themselves, but I agree with loveanime that the parting scene in the Old Ramayan was done more beautifully. Of course, both in the Old & New, it's not authentic to Valmikiji's Uttar Kand, but according to the Sagars' script, the Old one flowed more smoothly. In the New One, it seemed as if Sita was reprimanding Ram more than consoling him, and the character of Ram was made out to be too weak. In the Old One, Ram showed his sadness, but there was still strength in his bearing, and he looked as if he saw the truth in Sita's parting words. It was a time of sacrifice for both of them, and they would always be together in their hearts.
Here's the video of the vow Sita takes and Ram & Sita's parting words to each other in the Old Ramayan if anyone is interested...

I know Sita in this new one seemed Disappointed in Ram for not giving the order himself, she said she would be more proud of him if he did. Aiyyyyyyyyyyyy I cringed when she said that, don't think that was appropriate to say from Sita's side, Sita is always proud of her husband. The actors did their parts well, but they screwed up the script in this one.

Definitely the old Ramayan sets a true bench mark in terms of their separation, I think this is the best I have seen to this date. This one scene just didn't convey the sadness, but the ideal of what is dharm, what is right and wrong, what real love is, how you can sacrifice everything yet still go on living, Ram doesnt shed a tear but you can see the pain in his eyes and at the same time pride of his Sita when he folds his hands he is saluting her in terms of all man kind. At the same time Sita's words are not just for Ram it is like she is coming out of the screen and talking to the audience consoling us, teaching us all a lesson, which is the whole point of us watching Ramayan to learn some life lessons. That is what is wonderful I find in that scene so kudos to whoever wrote that particular scene I find it timeless.

You're welcome Rupali.😳
Yes, Sita's vanvas is soooo sad😭. But because of it, Sita Ma's virtue is being remembered forever, even though it is Kali Yug and it took place in the Treta Yug. I think that was Ramji's plan.
