Royal launch
As we walk down the red carpet rolled out to receive the VVIP guests, the tutari is played by the royally dressed gatemen. Reverting to the kingly realm of a heart-warming reception, the guests were greeted with a shower of flowers from a bevy of traditionally decked woman posted on both sides. The strewing of petals and the spraying of ittar, each forehead was adorned with a ritualistic tilak with a pinch of vermilion. While the male folk was drawn in instantly to don the conventional orange turban, the women were handed out red roses. Each guest was ushered in with a locally made drink from rose petals - a light pink refreshing sherbet.
After taking a look around the architectural intricacies, the monumental beauty and exquisite furniture of fine taste and aristrocacy, the press was made to enjoy a majestic conference. Seated on the floor over a cushy quilt covered with white sheets and bolsters to recline on the press meet proceeded with an interesting audio-visual presentation. The conference was preceded by Nilanjana Purkayastha, Business Head, SaharaOne Television, followed by producer Shakti Sagar of Sagar Arts. The cast of the show Jayati Bhatia, Neil Bhatt and Neha Marda also briefed the media on their character on the show.
A period love story, the serial features two young talents - Neil Bhatt and Neha Marda, while seasoned versatile actress Jayati Bhatia etches out an uncanny character of Jogan Mastani, who describes herself as the worshipper of eternal love.
