Happy Telugu New Year (Ugadi)

On 27th March, we (people from Andhra Pradesh) are going to celebrate Telugu new year or Ugadi. I wish all natives from AP a Happy Ugadi. This Ugadi will come 1 week before Sri Rama Navami. IN thjis one week, no body will plan to conduct marraiges, because after the commencement of telugu new year, the first couple to get married is none other than our eternal pair Lord Ram - Sita.

Also my best wishes to every one. On this auspicious day, we make Ugadi Pickle which contains 6 different tastes (sweet, bitter, soar, salty, mirchy (hot), raw mango pieces (soar)) In telugu it is mentioned as Teepi (sweet due to jaggery) 😊, CHedu (bitter due to flower from mango tree) 😭, Pulupu (Soar due to tamarind paste) 😔, Uppu (Salt) 😲, Vagaru (Soar due to raw mango pieces) 😔, Chilli powder or Green Chillies (Hot or mirchy) 😡.It resembles like all different combinations in human life (Happiness, Sadness, angry moments, disgraceful moments). We also include fruits like grapes, bananas in this pickle.

So I once again wish all my friends a Happy Ugadi
