Roshan Abbas's Encompass Productions is all set to launch its fiction show on Sony. The show is tentatively titled as Palampur Express. This is a story of the journey of a girl athlete.

Informs a source, "The cast is relatively new and we are yet to finalise the lead actress of the show. Yesteryear actor Tej Sapru is playing a vital role in the show. He will be seen as the father of the lead girl. The protagonist is an athlete, a sprinter. It is a very simple and sweet story of this athlete who after winning the championship in her city lands in Mumbai for the higher level championship. And then comes the turning point when she falls in love which marks the beginning of a new journey in her life. The lead character is expected to be called Pavani. This show will be a daily and is expected to launch in April. This will be a prime-time show and expectedly will get a time slot between 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM."

When contacted producer Roshan Abbas said, "The channel will be sending a press release in a while. We are contract bound and not supposed to discuss it as of now."

We contacted Sanjay Upadhyay, Creative Director Fiction Sony, but he refused to comment.

this show seems intresting and i think AV might end becuase it says it is gong to come in a time slot between 9- 10 and ek safar...... has just started so i really dont think that will end.
any way if AV does end i will be happy becuase i dont think there is much left in the show now so it best to end it before it starts to drag.

Thats soooo stupid if they end it because they havent shown the reason why manali was killed
