Jai Siya Ram
Sunayana - Sita, I want to take you to sisters to Mithila. It is tradition that a woman gives birth to her first child in her parent's home.
Sita- No, Ma, please do not give me such an order. Your Sita has to face a tough test for her duty.
Mother - What pain do you have?
Sita - Ma, if I ask you something, will you answer? Whom should a king love the most?
Sunayana - This question is not complete. Let me know in what context you are asking this?
Sita - Between wife and subjects, whom should a king love the most? Unless I get the answer, I will not be at peace.
Sunayana - To find the answer, you must pray to Lord Shiv. He is the Lord of the universe but he does not have a crown and he does not wear royal dress. He does not even have a place. Like Shiv ji, every king should live like a yogi so that people can meet him any time. The whole life of a king should start from subjects and end with subjects. His personal life, his wife, family has no significance.
Sita - Ma, before going back to Mithila bless me that I pass all tests as earlier; that I honour the sanskar that you have taught me.
Before going back to Mithila, Sunayana tells her other three daughters to take care of Sita. They promise to take care of their Sita didi.
Urmila is going to meet Sita but dasis stop her.
Dasis - Forgive us, devi Urmila but queen Sita has ordered that nobody should meet her. You cannot go inside.
Urmila shouts in anger. Then she sees Sita.
Sita - Urmila, leave me as I am.
Suddenly Sita disappears. So, Urmila was imagining that she saw Sita. On the other hand, Ram wakes up screaming Sita's name. He wakes up and starts pacing round.
Urmila goes running to Laxman and cries.
Urmila - Don't know swami, what has happened to Sita di. Champa gave her some news. After that, she is very worried. She does not want to meet anybody. I had to return from her room without meeting her.
Laxman - But on this festive occasion, she should be happy.
Urmila - It looks like even Sri Ram.
Laxman - No, Ram bhaiya cannot lose courage. He takes care of whole of Ayodhya. Why should he be sad?
Urmila - That is why I am worried. Sita didi's palace is always open for us. But today...
Laxman - Do not worrry. I am sure that in the royal palace of Ayodhya, bhaiya and bhabhi have no problem. But still, if you are worried, then let us go and meet them now.
Nice to see Urmila sharing her sorrow with Laxman.😊
Sita recalls Champa's words that people of Ayodhya want Ram to exile Sita. Ram remembers Vashishth's words that he should remove the root of his problems.
In the night, Sita wakes up and starts pacing around. Sita's desire talks to Sita. (the desire is shown as a lady who looks just like Sita, so two Debinas.😊)
Sita's desire - Queen Sita, I am your desire. I always want to get happiness.
Sita - But I have never been bound by my desire and by my senses. I will never back from the path of renunciation.
Sita's desire - It is easy to say but difficult to do.
Sita says that the time has come when no attachment will stop her from fulfilling her vow of renunciation.
Ram comes to Sita.
Ram - What happened, Sita?
Sita - Swami, something has happened. Why didn't you tell me what the whole of Ayodhya is saying? Don't you trust your Sita? Why didn't you exercise your right and your love. Why didn't you tell me that because of me, your kingly duties are in trouble. Why didn't you reject me?
Ram - If you heard any such thing, then ignore that. You should not worry about baseless talks.
Sita - One person's talk can be baseless not everybody's.
Ram - All five fingers are not equal. Likewise, all people are not same.
Sita - But if these questions are not answered, then tomorrow the world will blame you.
Ram - I am not worried about that.
Sita - But I am. For your sake, I can even give up my life.
Ram (emotionally) - No, Sita, that will not be needed.
Sita - A few days back, you were talking about destroying a new Ravan. You took promise from me that I will help you in destroying the new Ravan. You were talking about the Ravan in the minds of people, isn't it? Permit me to fulfill my promise to you.
Ram - No, Sita, please do not talk of leaving me.
Precap - Sita says that she and Ram will always be in each other's heart. But they must take tough decisions in order to win the trust of people.
Advertisement says that now Ramayan will be telecast Monday to Friday.
It is being shown that Sita accepted to go on exile out of her own willingness. It may be argued that showing this absolves Ram of the blame of exiling his innocent wife. But, whatever be the case, I personally do not like this idea of changing story.
