LOST LOVE...:(

hi everybody...how are u all doing...??

just thought of posting this poem i wrote on valentines day this year...

wanted to post it on that day but dont know what happened....😕😕

hope u all like it...this is my first ever writing...

comments and criticism all welcome...🤣

the poem goes like this...

LOST LOVE

I have waited so long for this day;

And thought about it all the way.

Walking nervously draped in whites

After having sleepless nights.

Eyes are moist and lips so wet,

And whispers- Im saying it- I bet!

There stands a man with red tie,

Her breath now larger than the sky!

Moves upto him and says "Hi"

She looks bold but her voice shy;

Trapped by his eyes so blue...

Gathering her voice she says "I love you"

The world stood still for a moment;

Suddenly nothing seems to be pleasant!

The young man says a plain "No"

Broke her little heart by hearing so...

I could write only so much?.

This seemed something rite out of what we've been studing this year in English! Oh really...im on cloud nine now...

It's reallly cuteeee! LOVE the imagery in the beginning. thankoo thankooo

And the only line I'm not so fond of is the her breath now larger than the sky. will try to improve my writing next time..😃

Otherwise...it's beautiful! I can't choose a favourite line, cuz they're all so wonderful! im overwhelmed

But why heartbreak on Valentine's??? You better put em together LOL will try to....😆

Anyways..keeep it uppp and post more!sure...now i gained little confidence over my writing.... 😃
