Ram in an anguished state of moind meets Vadrangsh , who gives her all details of the lady. The story of how one nigh she was late and was forced to stay in an old boatman's hut, and how her husband abandoned her for that saying she is characterless.
Ram still is worried and asks why she needed to come to him for justice. What about the village council. He soon learns that the village council too side with her husband only.
Ram does not understand why the council took side with the man and not the helpless woman. Vadragsh hesitates and it would bring up some uncomfortable topics.
Ram is not satisfied and he decides to inventigate the whole thing on his own . He plans to visit the village in disguise and orders vadranash also to come along with him.
Sita comes and requests him to send any of his brothers who are equally efficient. But ram says a king should himself verify everything and decided to pursue his course of action.
As he prepares to leave, Sita calls back and gives him a Jaytilak with her sindoor so that he is successful in his quest.
Then ram leaves through a secret doorway . if he leaves thorugh main gate everyone will know about it and so is this decision.
