Celebrity blogs are pass. The new trend is websites. Here's a report card on official websites of celebrities, each parameter rated on 10.

Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat's website has a lot to offer to her fans. Besides the regular biography, wallpapers, news on the actress, trivia and filmography, Mallika's website offers pictures of her at various events and on the sets of her films, videos, e-cards and a lot more. Mallika Sherawat Fan Club subscribes you to newsletters and you can participate in special contests too. We wish though that the website was more updated and ad-free. John Abraham

Your search for John Abraham ends here. JA's is a classic and an amazingly personal website. All his films, all his pictures shot by the best in the industry, trivia about his favourite things, his fitness mantra, information and pictures of his personal motorbikes, it's all here for you. You can register yourself and participate in the discussion forums and apart from reading John's blogs, you can write your own blog too. You can also read up and support organisations that John supports. The website's Biography section is a must read. We only wish there were wallpaper downloads of the actor too.

Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor's website comes across as a formal venture. It gives you bits of information on Ranbir's childhood, films, what others in the industry have to say about him, awards he's received. It talks about Ranbir's passion and shares a few pictures of Ranbir straight form his personal collection. Then there's also a huge section on Ranbir and soccer, where Ranbir shows his support for FC Barcelona. What we disliked though was the presence of ads that took up nearly fifty per cent of the webpage and that there are no downloads. Check out the website if you are a Ranbir fan

Salman Khan

We were quite excited on coming across Salman Khan's website. We thought it would thrill his lakhs of fans across the globe, but we must say we were deeply disappointed. The Filmography section of the website says we are in 2006 currently. Navigating to other sections of the website did not prove interesting too. The Biography section made a lengthy read. The download section showed an error, and so did most other sections. What annoyed us beyond limit though were the ads that were present randomly on all pages.

Lara Dutta

Considering this is Lara Dutta's second website, it is a lousy one. Disappointing most fans, there are no wallpapers or pictures of the actress to download, unless you count a few mobile downloads available. A couple of paragraphs on how she entered the industry, her charity work, a few of her favourite quotes and press articles on Lara pretty much make up all that's there. A few stories straight from the sets of Billu are the only ones that can hold your attention. And yeah, this one too has ads on it.

Shilpa Shetty

Here's someone who knows how to manipulate a website to her best advantage. Shilpa Shetty's is undoubtedly the best one amongst celebrity websites. From her Baazigar and Gambler days to Dostana, it's all out there. You can download some of her most beautiful pictures or watch videos of all her news-making episodes.

Fans can be updated on all the actress does, via her blog that's also a feature of the website. Stick on with Shilpa as she's gives out fitness tips and of course, promotes her Yoga DVD.
