Lalaji lost his sis during partition whose name was Chanda whom he loved v much & promised his grand pa to take care of her & get chanda married to a good family

& feels guilty for not been able to save her from the goons

&with nanhi pari he thinks dat his sis has come back after 40 yrs!!!

I was has tears in my eyes when i was watching the flashback scene and even wen he saw the baby for the first time..

and to top it, my mom was tellin me abt how all this truly happned during the time of partition and was describing the scenes during that time that my grandmother saw wen they were moving and told my mom... i was totally crying

I think it is a beautiful and such a simple story without any unnecessary complications..and this is what id love to see rather than all those twists and turns that lead upto nothing.
