Priyanka Chopra's footprints rest next to Marilyn Monroe's



Mumbai, March 09: Riding high on the success tide, Priyanka Chopra is leaving her marks everywhere. And we mean that literally. The lissome beauty, who has been the golden lady of all award functions bagging the much priced trophies for her 'Fashion'-able act, has left her footprints at the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum.

The dainty diva has just retuned home after casting her foot impressions at the renowned Florence museum. With this, Piggy Chops has become the second Indian to walk away with the honour. The first honour was bagged by Maharani of Cooch Behar, Indira Devi, over 50-years ago.

The museum that houses the footmarks of Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren and Drew Barrymore, now has Priyanka Chopra rubbing her feet with the international legends.

Overwhelmed at the recognition, Priyanks told a news daily, "Salvatori's son, Leonardo, who manages the family business, hosted a dinner on Tuesday at his home in my honour. It was very nicely done. I was happy to be at the receiving end of their attention. The museum has foot casts of famous personalities like Monroe and Drew Barrymore. And now it has my foot cast too. The Ferragamos are going to send me custom-made shoes regularly and of course, their bags."

No Madame Tussauds, but looks like Piggy Chops has just won herself a place in history.
