Heyyy!
Im ill.. bored and I have to wait another hour or so for a new episode of my fav show.. so excuse all mistakes 😳
I was wondering, does the gender of villan have anything to do with the show being tolerable or not.. Veer was a Disaster - with a capital D! lol.. Meera was atleast alot more tolerable, same with Jigs and Pia.. I didnt agree with them but still I didnt mind it when they did their thing on screen however with Veer I just didnt seem to know what was going on at all
Having said that I throughly enjoyed Aparajit Deb and his little screen time I thought it was funny.. esp the random talks to himself, but then he lost the plot when he drifted from revenge to love 😳
I cant seem to remember the other villans but yeh, do you think the gender of the villan has anything to do with the show being accepted?
Maybe the audiences love cursing females more then males.. ooooh i dnt know i thought id ask 😆

henna good post
i think females would be in a better lot
as they can raise their brows and use some dark makeup and wil large bindis, heavy sarees they can show negativity more
so females are better as villians atleast for me

it depends on how the role is written henz...a guy all out evil and evil like how Ranveer was in the beginning in KS would get a lot of ranting and raving...Meera had her share even before she turned negative...and jigs well we always loved to call her names...so it just depends...

ps can I get a job in your company...I like this able to watch shows and go on forums during working hours...

@jeenal interesting point about the make up.. puttin a big bindi on a guy would look odd haha!
@Divan, true meera got alot of praise before.. made me think is it cuz shes famous that she got far too? 🤔 So she had a fan following and they followed her to KS.. so TRPs rose or something... so it was more the fact they liked the actress then the actual role.. okay im just blabbering
PS. Im at home today but on working days i do watch KS/other dramas in my 'lunch hours' hehe.. i always have a lateeeeeeee lunch (so called benefits of being top) however, doors are always open for you, hop on the plane and come down for an interview 😃

Hey Henna, I like it when you come up with some interesting topics for discussion out of boredom 😉

Well, I had to visualize a little before answering your question---in my case, villian whether a woman or a man would be appealing if she or he is elegant, stylish, clever, funny and not overly dramatic....you know - no nonsense-ready to bust the guts kinds

will add more later...alligator...

I think male villains are better, for the simple reason that male villains tend to be a lot more unconventional than female villains.
Most female villains just happen to be the same, underhanded, and sly villains that don't speak out much, but instead, they only talk under their breath when no one else is around. They only appear powerful when they are alone... when in a crowd, they tend to be powerless!
The character of Jigyasa is an exception though, because she is one of the very few female villains that has been something extraordinary - she had power, like no other!
God bless.

Henzy I was not Pallavi fan...but I thought she did a wonder job of her role before and after being negative...like jigs you really hated her when she showed her evil face...

Oh c'mon Mango...I dare to disagree with ya...although I would love to see a stylish and hot John Abraham (in Dhoom) kinda villians but it should be realized that most of the Indian television shows run mainly due to a female villian and male villians have very short life in the shows...

I loved (to some extent) Meera in KS and from what little I have seen, I also liked the wicked lady (don't remember her name-one who stole her sister's baby!!) in Saat Phere...
