it could have been any other event like say opening of a new gym or whatever, if all the stars were at the same place they would have covered it just as much

and you can't really compare the two weddings really.. from what i have seen Amrita camp are milking the wedding to get as much coverage as possible, including leaking private sangeet footage etc..

where as Ayesha seems like she just wants the most important day of her life to be all about her..

I think it's wrong to say that Amrita is given more publicity even though she is not popular...She, Malaika have been this industry for a long time and they know most of the people so they will invite the person they know!...Malaika is in this industry for 10 years and you won't ignore the people your share friendship with in the times of special moment like this...May be Ayesha doesn't know that many people from the industry like Amrita do!...It doesn't mean that Amrita is showing off! I am no fan of her but it just takes away the fact that she know these people!

She gets the importance because people are REALLY glad that she will not act anymore!
