Ajay to act in Bhojpuri film

If Salman Khan has attempted to salvage filmmaker Saawan Kumar Tak's career as a director, superstar Ajay Devgan has stood by producer and cinematographer Nirmal Jani. Jani has worked with Devgan in films like Raju Chacha and Zakhm.

In fact, Zakhm fetched Ajay his first National Award. Expressing his gratitude Jani said, "I am so grateful to Ajay Devgan to have agreed to do a guest appearance in my Bhojpuri film which is titled Dharti Kahe Pukaar Ke. It has Manoj Tiwari, a star of Bhojpuri films and Sharbani Mukherjee in the lead. Ajay has not charged me a single rupee for the work that he has done.

I have known him since a long time now, but Ajay helping me out is a such generous gesture. I wonder how I will ever repay him." Nirmal Jani said that Ajay's presence in the film will certainly boost the prospects of the film at the box office.
