Ok so here, I am back with an analysis and I seriously want to know, what everything thinks about this analysis because I have tried to be as objective as I could about the show.
If I have to analyse this show from Mondays Episode, then I think the creative's are doing exactly what we want them to do so. I remember wanting RR to be sent to Timbaktu along with Sanjana (Well it looks like sanjanas track has been totally done away with, RR has been sent to Jail 'I think they have ended his track for the time being, if he is coming in movies), Simran's track has been kept on hold for the time being (how I hope they do away with it completely). So I think the attempts are being made but they are still faltering. I don't know how todays episode goes, but I hope BT comes up with an ace today.
I begin the analysis by saying about a Reality in life - " Ma ka dil kabhi galat nahin ho sakta" . If this guy was not Prem, then Gayatri would know. She felt he was nearby when the wire was stuck on her feet, she felt it was him when he touched her feet at the mandir and now she knows it's him. How can a mother's heart be wrong? So I think this is Prem only and will continue to believe so, till Gayatri does not feel that disconnection...
The show is about destiny, so may be it is destiny that this GS is infact Prem. I mean it is Prem. That the perfect slap, RR could get on his face, if this guy is prem, hat he wants to put prem away from the family, the family to hate prem and yet forces of nature come together and bind two people together. This is destiny without doubt that no matter how far "This Guy" tries to run away from them. He only keeps going back to them. Thinking about it ' it happened when heer believed that there was a guy for her for 20 years and that guy didn't turn up. She reconciled to faith but destiny had totally different plans and forces of nature came together and bought two people together. Going by the same logic, may be, applies here as well. Don't know.
Having said that, I have always wanted heer to be strong... to have guts ...to have a voice .... but not at the expense of going against the essence of the character. It didn't look like heer there. A brickbat here for the creatives : Can the characters please retain the essence...you may be confused. Please keep your confusion to yourself and stop confusing the audience.
The show is a year old now and it is still as illogical as can be and there are times, I really wonder if the winter of despair will ever become the spring of hope for us ! Seriously Creatives - Wake Up. Kasam Se is now ending, Tujh Se is going to be the afternoon slot - Do you realize that kis desh will be the only serial of yours on prime time on star? Why the hell aren't you guys pulling up your socks and doing something for the show? Cmon you owe to yourself. Not to any one else but to yourself and to your profession. The sooner you realize it, the better it is.
Agreed, heer is frustrated, agreed she is upset. Agreed, she too needs to vent ' which just makes me realize one thing now. Could it just be possible that the creatives are showing us that heer can only be herself, around Prem, that she can only open up her heart and that to talk to Prem? Is it what they are trying to imply her and that you can only be yourself with the people you love. You can only scream at the ones you love? Or are they trying to show us that heer heart is saying that this is prem, her head is saying this is gaurav - caught is a tussle of head/heart, she lashed out hoping this lashing out will make gaurav/prem actually tell her who he is and why he is doing so.
Have to give a bouqet here to HC for his mindblowing expressions. I think this week, he has surpassed his previous performances (including the gaurav identity being revealed) and my own expectations of the character. And I have to say this, he was brilliant. I mean it was brilliance at it's best. One of the most flawless, emoting style, I am yet to come across from any actor.
Bouqet to Preet/Sushant Rajput : Haila, preet juneja ka gussa bhi aa jata hai! Thank you creatives for bringing back the essence!! I couldnt quite take the way when he stood quietly as veerawas shouting at prem when she first came home.... hope this character will be able to handle the truth that the guy he think is his pb is not actually is pb. Preet like Prem is actually very sensitive and emotional and vunerable too. Something that prem realizes and it this vunerability and sensitivity that he hides behind the fun loving character of his. So I am thinking that may be when he learn that this is not his prem bhaiya, his sensitivity will be known, his hurt will be known and for it to be known to the audience if this is indeed Prem, then something has to happen to preet ' probably he meets with an accident, which shakes up prem/gaurav, blood is needed as they have a rare blood group which is common to both prem and preet and prem has to give his blood to preet. That's the only logic thing I can come up with right now. (I know though this will be so much a la kyunki though )
May be it is destiny that Preet and Meher are married, may be they were destined to be together. Its strange isnt it, how you think you are in love, you seem to be in love with some one and yet you only get that person, jo taqdeer ne, hathon ki lakeer ne likha hai. I love the relationship, the bond they share... and it just proves one fact... more than love, it is essential you are friends with your partner... You know the kuch kuch hot hai dialogue... pyar dosti hai, the one where rani said main unkee pyar to thi, unkee patni to ban gayee par unkee sabse acchi dost kabhi na ban paye...
Reality : The bonds that two sisters share. Meher may have had her reasons for not beleving heer earlier, which were against the character and thinking about that, I now think may be meher never did belueve that her sister was wrong - may be she was doing all that nautanki to get the truth out from heer... because she knows her sister?? Coming back to the analysis - It was Meher who first realized that prem loved heer... It was Meher who actually made heer think about prem and today it is meher, who noticed the difference... it was something which bothered meher - so will it be meher who will get to the bottom of the matter and tell preet about it or will it be meher who will actually be the binding force between the two again.
Disbelief : I am really surprised that harman hasnt started feeling clausterphobic as yet in his relationship with Maya. I mean a guy like him, should have come out of his shell by now!
Err, did any one else notice Prem/Gauravs expression , when veera was taunting prem calling him sautela - Remember the last time, the whole sautela thing came up, how gayatri flared up - Remenber how prem was silent then - not saying anything - I think he walked away last time too...and he was quite the last time too, hurting inside - The expressions this time were of hurt, only this time, he tried not to show it. So, I think this indeed Prem - I don't think he is suffering from any ML , I just think that he wants heer to hate him the way heer wanted the family to hate her. That time, heer had her reasons and this time, prem has his reasons. I think Prem knows that something is amiss, knows that some one is all wrong in the family and bringing out the down fall, wants to do it his way, is aching inside but is still going ahead and doing it - why, because that has always been our Prem - one who has kept his hurt , pain and misery and emotions to himself, one who smiled through his tears. Plus this is our detective prem - remember how he was acting like a sleuth detective to uncover the whole manmeet thing - I think he got a big shock, when he realized that heer was marrying RR, probably because he always believed that Heer could think about marrying any one else but him. (Did any else notice the change in expression to slight anger, when heer told prem tum kya jaana kaisa lagta hai agar pyar main koi dokha de) and I think Heer is only acting all mean to Prem/Gaurav because she still believes that this is Prem hearts cant lie, can it? And hence this is her way of getting the truth out from Gayrav/Prem because it wont come out in any other way. She knows the last time, she had to drive prem up the wall to confess his love for her , she perhaps is doing the same thing now.
I kinda like the scenes between lalit ji and preet, they are brilliantly portrayed and they make me miss the scenes between prem and preet and prem & lalit ji
One thing that makes me think that this is indeed Prem is the way, gayatri puts the sindoor in heers maang. That is again reflective of destiny may be? That heers maang cant have any one else's sindoor other than Prem! Which brings me back to the prediction of that baba tumhare maang ka sindoor hoga la ' lal khoon jaisa - lal khoon here could have just meant the deepness and purity of the relationship.
Speaking of dialogues, I think two dialogues stood out :
a) Tumhare Prem ke paas sab kuch tha, aur who aaj yahan nahin hai. Mere Paas kuch bhi nahin , phir bhi main yahan hoon - That's Life
This is a very profound statement .. What Gaurav means here is that Prem had everything, a perfect family, a loving fiancee, brothers and sisters who doted on him, he had everything going for him and in the true sense was complete - yet he was not with the ones who loved him. Yet Gaurav (if he is a look alike) , o could very well have nothing in hand, no family or has a family who didnt give him the time of the day, had brothers and sisters who didnt love him - could it be that gaurav grew up in a very materialistic world, needs the money - not for anything but to prove himself - not to himself but to his family as he think money is the only way he can get their love...Could Gaurav also be as emotional and sensitive as prem Could it be Gaurav (if he has ML) needs to money so that he gets to know who his real family is?
Could it mean that life is all about being at the right place at the right time?
b) Haan alaag hai, zindagi main tajurba alag hai, log alag hai
this could only mean that gaurav has had a bitter experience, he has been deeply wounded before. May be, he too had a near death experience, zindagi main log alag hain - could it be that he has come from a broken home (assuming it is a humshakal)
c) agar banna chahta to ban sakta tha...
could it be that he is only trying to know from heer all about prem so that he can do his job better ... (assuming it is humshakal), or he has already started feeling the connection and realizes that he is prem and this is his way of getting his memory back...
d) Tum mujhe prem ki cheese nahin choone deti, phir bhi tum chahtee ho, ki prem un zindagi ko chooyon, jo prem ne chue the - That's Destiny
and this could only mean that he is hinting to her that he is indeed Prem!!
Though I loved all the flashbacks scene and I think they are showing these flashbacks as remeberance of the time prem and heer spent together, it just relieved some memories didnt it?
I also think that Gaurav is acting all aloof with gayatri because thats the only way he thinks she can become better ... (you know shock treatment)
