UTV Bindaas recently launched the Ungli Uthao campaign, an initiative taken to reach out to the young Indians to urge them to utilise their fundamental right of Voting. With elections around the corner, the channel is creating awareness regarding the importance of each vote. John Abraham flagged off the initiative through a road show at the Horniman Circle Gardens on February 24. Speaking on this occasion John Abraham said, "Today I have joined hands with Bindaas for this campaign to urge the youth to come forward and exercise their right. I am glad that UTV has taken this huge responsibility of leading the youth of India through this movement. This is also like a platform where the youngsters can express themselves." He even spoke about his favourite politicians, "Personally I like Omar Abdullah because he is very efficient. I would even like to see more of Priyanka Wadra." When asked if he would like to play any politician's role on screen, John was quick to add, "I respect Barrack Obama and if I had to play a politician's role I would love to enact him on screen."
