Aamir gearing for a laugh

Aamir Khan will soon be seen enacting a comic role. After his hilarious films like 'Andaz Apna Apna' and 'Ishq' in the past, it'll be a delight to see him tickle our bones again. He is all set to work with producer Bobby Bedi again, this time for a laughathon. It's heard that the producer has already signed him and paid a whopping sum of Rs 10 crore as the signing amount. To be directed by Mani Ratnam the film will begin shooting from April 2006. The flick is yet to be titled. Aamir Khan and Mani Ratnam will be working for the first time, and with the coming together of the two big talents, we can certainly expect the best.

Bobby Bedi who had been planning to make three big film based on The Mahabharata has dropped the plan currently and will begin with the comedy next. The producer is currently tight lipped to give away any details about the film. He says that he will speak to the media about it only after the film starts shooting and the cast is finalized. However he confirms that the film will begin shooting next year and will have Aamir in the lead. The work on the script is currently on, and the film will revolve round the life of Aamir. The romantic-comic film will be loaded with comic elements and will be a fun to watch. The film will surely be an innovative project and different from the comedies you've seen so far, the producer confirms.
