Delhi 6 Is Well Below The Mark
Delhi 6 had a poor to average week one. The film collected around 22 crore nett in week one, the weekend figures were 15 crore nett and not 18 crore nett as mentioned on the site earlier. The eighth day has seen collections fall aound 60-80%. The best collections have come in Delhi/NCR and Mysore but recover looks near impossible even with no competition this week as new releases are very dull.

Delhi 6 was below the mark overseas with a poor 80 lakhs in United Kingdom but reasonable collections in North America and Middle East of 3 and 2 crore respectively. Total overseas collection is around 6.50 crore.

It's a hit it made like 300 crores or something within a week or two! So it's a hit for sure! It's the 2nd biggest grosser behind Raaz 2 for this year!!

Delhi 6 grosses 330 million in first week

Delhi 6 grosses 330 million in first week. Critics may have discredited Delhi 6 as a flop, but the movie has made an astounding 330 million worldwide in the opening weekend out of which it has grossed 275 million in India alone, getting a grand avenue of 945 screens.

The UTV production has also raked in over $ 600,000 across 90 screens in America.

Sonam Kappor was jubilant as she candidly discussed her role in the movie and her upcoming movies. She has more reason to be happy than her father's phenomenal success with Slumdog Millionaire.

She has proved her acting prowess in the Delhi 6 and is deemed to be the fresh mark of success and talent in Bollywood.
