basically viraj, the daughter is the most beloved person in the house. the storyline follows hum dil de chuke sanam, except instead of singing, the father is an artist, a sculptor. gaurav khanna essays salman khan's role. one day the father finds out and has the kid killed. to punish the daughter he makes her married to a mute person who is extremely poor. the daughter goes into depression and at one point tries to find her lover. she then finds that he has died, again goes into depression, but with the help of her husband and his bhabhi, she realizes that she must live for herself (that there are poor ppl in the village suffering everyday, and still they do their work and live). so she leaves her husband and teaches at some paathshala. the father finds out and tortures the husband, viraj has to come back. to get revenge she goes back to her father's house. there's drama there. finally the father can't take her anymore and he has put into an asylum and her husband is beat and thrown out. i think right now, the husband has helped viraj escape the mental institute.

Is this guy a father or long lost enemy of past life? That story sounds like some torture story. How sad😭
