when Ramji was returning back to ayodhya with sitaji then Ramji was soooooooo impressed by the sweet ,caring & humble nature of trijata & the way trijata took care of sitaji at ashok vatika tht Ramji asked trijata to come along with them (ram-sitaji) to ayodhya but trijata denied as she considered sitaji as her daughter so she was hesitating to come to ayodhya !!!

then RAMJI asked trijata to go to kashi nagri (Banaras in the uttar pradesh state ) to go there permanently & indulge herself in the bhakti ogf Lord shiva ,already trijata was a great shiv bhakt .

so trijata for getting ultimate salvation moved to kashi nagri also known as BANARAS or VARANASI !!!

in Banaras (kashi nagri) at the banks of THE GANGES ,there is a temple of LORD SHIVA also famously known as TRIJATA temple is ,this temple was constructed by the king of kashi nagri !!!

it is said tht lord Shiva was soooooooooo happy with the bhakti of trijata at kashi tht he gave her a boon tht she wud b worshipped like a goddess for one day ,on kaartik poornima day (as this day is considered very auspicious for bathing in the Ganges ,it is said tht on taking HOLY DIP in the Ganges on this day ,we get rid off all our sins & also it is said tht kaartik month is also the favorite month of RAMJI as Ramji returned to ayodhya after killing ravan during this month )

in this temple there is a shiv linga !!! & a idol of trijata is also there but tht idol is worshipped only on one day (the aarti of the idol is done) on the day of KAARTIK POORNIMA (full moon night in the kaartik month ,kartik poornima is also known as the tulsi vivah )

on tht day aarti of trijatas idol is done ,trijata on tht day is being worshipped as a goddess !!!

it is said tht one who visits tht temple for the darshan of shiva linga has to do the darshan of trijata's idol also !!!!! (but the aarti & the special offerings at trijatas idol is done only on the kaartik poornima day)

brinjals & radish r offered at trijatas idol on this kaartik poornima month !!!!

this temple is very famous in Banaras !!!

Is it true that Trijata was born as Subhadra,( for services rendered to Ma Sita) Shri Krishna's sister in dwapar yug?? I came across this on some site on info about Subhadra, just wanted to confirm..does anybody knows it??
