after the performance nupur tries to apolagize but mayank doesn't listen. in the end the egos clash and their friendship breaks. they are both back to square one. hating each other. after a few days it is announced that exams are coming up during one class nupur finally gets mad at mayank's snide comments and snaps. she challenges mayank that this year she would beat him in the exams. a big mistake because mayank is super smart and no one evr beats him. the next weak or so is shown in nupur attempting to study and failing. finally Gunjan advises ger to study in her own way. nupur uses her movie knowledge and the way she use to learn her drama lines or how she remembers movie lines is how she is now preparing for her exams. during class the teacher asks her a question and she gives a mu tod javab stunning everyone. especailly mayank who realizes that he should start taking nupur more seriously. the next two weeks pass in preparing for exams and then the exams pass. During this time nupur and mayank are called to represent the college in a academic meet. They both refuse to go together nupur says that who ever gets the higher marks can chose to go with their own partner. after a couple of days of the exam nupur and mayank are called back telling them that they have to go together. When they start arguing again Dheodor sir finally tells then the marks in the tests marked so far. Nupur is only behind mayank by two marks! Hereing this mayank lookes relieved while nupur looks shocked. She accepts this and tells mayank if he can find a partner that can beat nupur she won't come for the meet. If nupur defeats mayank's chosen partner than she goes with him to the academic meet. Mayank accepts. After lots of nok jhoke and looking for a partner; being fooled by nupur into thinking he has a partner nupur and mayank end up going for the meet to ahemdabad. They go and during a break when nupur gets down for a bathroom break she misses the bus when she gets back from the washroom. Mayank ends up getting down and now they are making their way trough the jungle trying to get to ahemdabad.
