Most Indian programmes are predictable…even the programmes with different concepts in the end become palpable… like nureat01 said that this show was not a ground breaking show to begin with…it's actually the direction, the characters and the actors that play the characters that make it enjoyable….until the characters don't become like the other show…and start creating a puddle at the drop of a hat… and start bursting out in a song every other week…(just to advertise their so called *cough cough* dancing talent) I am quite happy watching the obvious story line and the cliched scenes. If the direction is good, and the characters are well sketched out and people are able to identify with them…it could turn the most used and clichd story line in to an amazing piece of programme or a movie for that matter. An obvious example of a movie is DDLJ and the most recent JTYJN…neither had a path breaking story line, but it worked coz of its characters and the direction.
MJHT till now have stayed true to their character sketches to a certain extent…and till now there is no sign of either couple having fallen in love already…yes attraction which is inevitable. *fingers crossed, the sell by date of this show lasts longer than the other show* As long as there are no confessions and break ups again and again for no apparent reason…it seems promising…and in the mean time I am quite happy watching the bickering, and the over-drama of MayUr.
