Thanks, Rimi, Mallika di, Chatter di, Purvi and Vibs.....

@ chatter di, : Rajyabhishek on thursday? aww will have to wait another day ?? 😔

@ Purvi: yes Lakshman -Urmila scene didn't get justice 🤔.....infact Lakshman instead of giving her solace, was found confused, it wasn't a cold response but rather his response was DRY.

May be Lakshman didn't feel it appropriate to react in presence of his elders. But still, he could have been shown as atleast lifting her up and both of them looking at each other. 😊
But hopefully they should show atleast a couple of scenes in the palace😍
And also, in yday's episode, Kaikeyee does say that when she fed Ram, she experienced as if in heaven or something. But in this Ramayan, they never showed Kaikeyee feeding Ram even once. It was always Kaushalya feeding Ram and Kaikeyee feeding Bharat in the couple of dining scenes.

the episode was so well shot. But Laxman Urmila part was a bit disspointing. They met after 14 yrs. But Ankit's expressions on seeing urmila was dissappointing. Why he didn't hold her when she touched his feet n was continuously crying? Atleast he shud have hugged her or asked her to stop crying. Sagars please do not neglect laxman Urmila

Hey Purvi, hugging would have been Maryada Ullanghan. Ya but atleast he could have held her and raised her from his feet.

huggin is not maryada ka ullaghan if u r hugging ur own wife. there is mention of Ram Sita hugging eachother after Ram kills Viraadh n after Agnipareeksha. wahts bad in it? They shud have shown it

Agree with Ananya Laxman looked so dry n confused when Urmila touched his feet

Agree with the last comment.

Also, not only is hugging one's wife okay, hugging one's mother, grandmother is okay as well. Kaikeyi & Kaushalya hugging Rama, Sumitra hugging Lakshman, all that was normal.

Oh ok, but still if Ram and Sita do hug after these 2 incidents, they do not do it in front of their family elders, like queen mothers, Guru etc . Definitely nothing bad in it I know, but still probably people then were expected certain codes of decorrum in the public and in front of elders. Probably my wording was wrong but still I feel they would not have shown them hugging each other.

How exactly then do you characterize them when their mothers, after raising them from their pranams, hug them, and all they can do is reciprocate? Could you make the case that it's okay for them to hug their mothers, but not their wives?

Well, it was just my view... And as far as I have seen mythological serials, they have never shown couples being close in presence of elders. And that is why I felt the Sagars did not show it and would not be showing it.
And then, hugging mother and hugging a spouse is different, dont you think so? Again I am just bringing this scenario when in front of elders...
As I said, this is just my view, others may definitely have diffrent views on the same scene.
