Both of them got ready for sanjeevani, and sharp at 9 they were standing for briefing

Session in front of dr. keerti… after giving duties she left, riddhima was talking to nikita when one ward boy came and gave one letter to armaan, first armaan didn't understand but then remembering about his secret admirer he understood that who's sent this letter to him, he looked riddhima with horror… but she was busy talking to nikita.. he quickly hides that letter in his pocket…. When….

 

R: (from back) armaan kya hua, wahan akele kyun khade ho??? Aur ye tumhari shakal ke 12 kyun baje hue hai????

 

A: ( jaise kissi ne uski chori pakad li ho) kuu.. kuch nahi… wo bas waise hi patient ke baare mai soch raha tha.. anyways challo.. warna hittler maar dalegi….

 

R: waise tumhari shakal se lag nahi raha ki tumhe kuch nahi hua, par agar tum keh rahe ho to….  Ab baad mai milti hun tumse…. Okkk byee… (armaan little smiled and said byeee)

 

As soon as she left, he took out the letter and start reading…

 

Mere jaan se pyare armaan….

 

Kitne dino baad tumhara chehra dikha, ek baar bata kar jaate ki kahan jaa rahe ho, meri to jaan hi sukh gai thi, har roj tumhara intejar karti ki shayad aaj tum dikh jao, aur atlast kal tumhara deedar ho hi gaya…. Bahut khush lag rahe the, aise hi khush raha karo bahut ache lagte ho…..

 

Bas yehi kehna chahte the ki kabhi phi raise bina bataye gayab na ho jaana, hamari jaan nikal jaati hai…. aapse bepanah pyar jo karte hai…. bas intejar hai uss pal ka jab aap hamare pyar ko sawikaar kar lenge….

 

THODA SA PYAR HUA HAI, THODA HAI BAAKI…

HUM TO DIL DE HI CHUKKE, BAS TERI HAAN HAI BAAKI…

 

Dekhiyega kahi aapki haan ke intejar mai hamari jaan na nikal jaaye….

 

Aapki deewani……….

 

Armaan was little scared after reading the letter, he quickly torn that letter in 2 pieces and throw it in dustbin and thinking agar isse meri pal pal ki khabar rehti hai to ise kya pata nahi ki mai riddhima se kitna pyar karta hun, phir bhi paglo ki tarah letters bhejti rehti hai, uska to pata nahi par mera sukun jaroor cheen gaya hai, pata nahi kaun pagal hai, agar riddhima ko pata chal gaya to…. Mujhe kuch na kuch to karna padega iska… (He left for I.C.U thinking all this )

 

after two hours, he again received one note…on which following lines were written..

 

KAUNSA MOD AAYA JINDAGI KE SAFFAR MAI,

BAS GAYA TU HI TU AB TO MERI NAAJAR MAI,

DIL KI HAR EK DHADKAN TUJHKO PEHCHANTI HAI,

MERI SAASEIN BHI AB TO TUJHKO HI MANGTI HAI….

 

MAI TUJHE PYAR KARUN, TUJHPE JAAN NISSAR KARUN

BAS YE TAMANNA HAI BAAKI…..

 

Mixture of emotions can be seen on armaan's face, emotions of little anger, little horror, little irritation… he doesn't have problem with letters but the main problem is riddhima… (he felt someone is waving hands in front of his eyes, he came in present and was shocked to see riddhima in front of him)

 

R: kya hai armaan, kab se bula rahi hun kahan ghum ho, aur ye kya hai??? (pointing at letter)

 

A: kuch nahi.. (quickly rolled that paper and fling it in dustbin) tumhare matlab ka nahi hai….

 

R: are ye kya kiya.. usse

 

A: (without letting her complete) uski sahi jagah tak pahuncha diya…. Acha tum isse chodo, batao tum yahan kaise aayi???

 

R: paeron se…(she smiled) mujhe laga itna to tumhe pata hi hoga…

 

A: hee hee hee very funny…. Hassun mai…

 

R: tumhara muh hai jo marji karo… (she again smiled, armaan looked her irritatedly) tumhe pata hai tumhara ye chehra dekh kar bada maaja aata hai… kitne sundar lagte ho tum aise……. Aur khud par proud bhi feel hota hai.. tumhare face par irritation dekhkar.. after all armaan malik ko irritate karna is not at all an easy job…. (armaan gave her THE look)

 

R: anyways tum pichle 2 ghanto se milne nahi aaye, to socha iss baar for a change mai chalti hun, free bhi thi aur bore bhi ho rahi thi…

 

A: ohh to aapke kehne ka matlab hai aap hume miss kar rahe the….

 

R: nahi mere kehne ka ye matlab hai ki mai free hun, mujhe bhuk bhi lag rahi hai, mere saath canteen challo… (he smiled and shaked his head thinking ki wo directly bol kyun nahi deti agar mujhe miss kar rahi hai to, uff ye ladkiyon ko samajhna impossible hai…. then said challo….)

 

Then they had coffee and sanwitches, while again that wardboy came searching for armaan, armaan mumbled ab to gaya mai, that wardboy stopped next to armaan...

 

W.B: dr. armaan ye aapke liye (giving him rose and one note)(he left after handling him and armaan start sweating….) 

 

R: ye kisne bheja hai armaan… (looked him questionably)

 

Jis cheez se wo darr raha tha aakhir wohi hua, ab kya jawab dega usse… he came in present when he heard pager tone… riddhima was still looking at the letter that was in armaan's hand

 

A: (little relaxed) riddhima tumhara pager baj raha hai..

 

R: armaan par ye.. (looking at letter)

 

A: are baad mai dekh lena, filhaal abhi to jao, nahi to gabbar aa jayegi aur dono ka kuchumber nikal degi… jaoo.. gud..

 

R: okk par batana jarur ki kya hai isme…

 

A: okkk jaan, ab jao… (she turned) acha suno… (she stopped, armaan lightly scratched his forehead) I luv you….

 

R: (smiled) I luv u too… (and she ran)

 

Armaan kept on looking her till she was vanished from his eyes, and his smile changed into anger when he saw letter.. he again settled on chair and ordered coffee…. After thinking so much, he came to the conclusion that today he'll tell everything to her, whatever be the result…. He stood up with strong decision and goes in general ward and called riddhima….

 

R: kya hua armaan???

 

A: mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai….

 

R: haaan bolo.. (very lovingly)

 

A: yahan nahi… fire escape mai…

 

R: par abhi to aana mushkil hai, 2-3 patients ka check up baaki hai…

 

A: please riddhima mujhe abhi baat karni hai, abhi nahi ki to kabhi nahi kar paunga…

 

R: aisi kya baat hai???

 

A: tum challo to sahi… (he pulled her in fire escape, then closed the door behind and settled down on stairs… armaan put his head in her lap..)

 

R: (caressing his hair) ab bolo kya baat hai???

 

A: pehle waada karo ki mujhe daantogi nahi aur na hi naaraj hoyogi…

 

R: batao to sahi ki hua kya hai???

 

A: pehle waada.. (he forwarded his hand)

 

R: agar tumne yuhi paheliyan bhujani hai to mujhe jaane do… (she tried to get up..)

 

A: acha… ( holds her) mai batata hun… wo actually and he narrated all the story to her…. then looked her for the first time with a slight fear in his heart, he tried to read her expressions…. First riddhima didn't utter a word then..

 

A: kuch to bolo…

 

R: kya bollun, tumne bolne ke liye kahan kuch choda hai….(with a sad expression)

 

A: riddhimaa ab isme meri kya galti hai, wo ladki hi mujhe aise aise letters bhejti hai, mai kya kar sakta hun???

 

R: jarur tum iss ladki ko jaante honge, nahi to wo pagal thodi na hai jo tumhe letters bhejegi, bas tum mujhe batana nahi chahte, haina……(her expression all of a sudden changed in to anger)

 

A: riddhima tum pagal ho kya, mai tumse kyun kuch chupaunga, mai seriously isse nahi jaanta….

 

R: jhoot na bolo (in anger) mujhe pata hai ki tum iss ladki ko jaante ho…

 

A: mai nahi jaanta riddhima…I swear…. Don't you trust me????

 

R: jab tak tum mujhe iss ladki ke baare mai nahi bataoge tab tak tumse baat nahi karungi…(saying this she left, and shut the door behind in anger…. Leaving him totally shocked, he pinched himself lightly to know if he's not seeing a dream, but that was reality….)

 

A: (mumbled to himself) ye riddhima ko kya hua, rohit theek kehta tha… pata nahi kyun mujhe satyawaadi harishchandra ban ne ka bhoot sawaar hua, pagal tha mai jo socha ki wo samajh legi…. Ab dekh problem ho gai, isse kehte hai apne pare par khud kulhaadi maarna aur kal to…. Ab kya karun??? Kaise yakeen dilwaun usse ki mai jhoot nahi keh raha…..ek jhamela khatam hota nahi, dusra pehle aake khada ho jaata hai…. jab bhi sab kuch acha acha karne ki sochta hun sab bigad jaata hai…..

      

                His pager start ringing, he didn't want to go but it's emergency case, so he left

Without knowing the fact that one image was following him, as soon as he left, that image mumbled to herself aage aage dekhte jao kya hota hai armaan ji… hum aapse bahut pyar karte hai….. itna ki aapko bata bhi nahi sakte,aapko iss baat ka yakeen jarur dilwaane ki koshish karenge….

 

Armaan tried to talk to riddhima several times but remained unsuccessful, in car also she remained silent throughout… armaan parked car, riddhima without waiting for him entered in house and after washing her hands settled on dining table for dinner…

 

A: riddhimaaa…. Aise kyun behave kar rahi ho??

 

R: armaan please khana kha lo chup chap, mai kuch baat nahi karna chahti…. (saying this she served him and then started eating…)

 

And then she changed her clothes and settled on bed with her back towards him, armaan took a deep breathe then switched off the lights mumbling aaj ke din hi hona tha ye sab kuch……

 

Around 12 o'clock at night, someone rang their doorbell… riddhima was totally lost in dreams so she didn't respond, but on second bell armaan got up thinking itni raat ko kaun aaya hai, he somehow goes down and opened door but no one was standing….

Armaan felt little strange, he was on the verge of closing door when found one beautiful basket full of flowers with a note lying on ground…. He unbelievingly picked that basket and locked the door…….

 

Read that note, it was again from her secret admirer… armaan in anger tore that note in pieces mumbling apne aap to chain se rehti nahi aur meri bhi raaton ki neend udda rakhi hai….. he goes up and saw riddhima sleeping peacefully, as soon as he settled on bed riddhima turned and put her arms round his tummy and placed her face on his shoulder…

 

R: armaan kahan challe gaye the??

 

Armaan looked her and realized that she's not conscious, he just kissed on her forehead and mumbled in her ears kahi nahi, tumhare pass hi hun hamesha ke liye…. She lightly smiled, armaan again kissed her and finally switched off the lights…

 

Next morning….. (7^th may)

 

Armaan opened his eyes with excitement, and immediately got up from bed, looking for riddhima he goes down, she was standing near sofa, holding bunch of flowers, smile played on his lips thinking mujhe pata tha ki tum mujhse jayda der naaraj nahi reh sakti… he goes near her, tried to hug her but she little moved back and looked him angrily…

 

A: riddhima kya hua??? Subah subah itne gusse mai??? (riddhima gave him that flowers

on which it was written  apni deewani ki taraf se ye 1 chotti si bhent sawikar karein….)

 

R: ab bhi yehi kahoge kit um isse nahi jaante???

 

A: riddhima tum mujhpar yakin kyun nahi kar rahi ho, mai seriously iss ladki ko nahi jaanta

 

R: phir usse iss ghar ka address kaise pata challa???

 

A: (tried to remain calm) riddhima atleast aaj to aisi baatein na karo…

 

R: (cutting him) kyun na karun?? ( a bit louder) ek to khud galti karo uppar se mujhe tumse puchne ka hak bhi nahi hai…

 

A: riddhima tum kyun itni chotti si baat ka issue bana rahi ho????

 

R: ye chotti si baat hai armaan???

 

A: haan riddhima… ab mai kya kar sakta hun agar mujhe koi notes bhej raha hai?? isme meri kya galti hai, mujhse kyun naaraj ho rahi ho???

 

R: you know what armaan I dunno want to talk to you… (saying this she left)

 

Armaan mumbled usse aaj yaad bhi nahi hai ki aaj kya hai, kaash aaj to na ladti mujhse.. his all excitement vanished…..

 

They reached sanjeevani not talking to each other, dr. keerti gave the duties, today armaan's duty was very less, around 10 o'clock he got free and goes in canteen, ordered coffee…. His mood was off…. After few minutes rohit joined him….

 

Ro: (sitting next to him) kya hua aise muh kyun latka ke baitha hai????

 

A: kuch nahi bas waise hi…

 

Ro: are bata bhi kya hua???? (in between one ward boy came and gave one letter to armaan)

 

A: ye hua??? (pointing to letter) jeena mushkil kar rakha hai, riddhima se bhi ladai ho gai iske kaaran, pata nahi kyun usse bataya, usse lagta hai isme mera hi kasoor hai, kuch baat bhi sun n eke liye taiyar nahi hoti…..

 

Ro: saari ladkiyan hoti hi aisi hai, khaer tu tension na le sab theek ho jayega….

 

A: are kya khaak theek hoga, ye ladki peecha chode tab na…

 

Ro: par dekh to letter mai kya likha hai??

 

A: mujhe nahi padna… (on the verge of tearing that letter)

 

Ro: abe ek baar pad to le, phir phad diyo, 2 minute baad phad dega to kya ho jayega, kaunsa riddhima ko pata chal raha hai ki tu inn letters ko bina pade phad deta hai….

 

Atlast armaan opened the note on which it's written….

 

Mere pyare armaan…

 

Bahut hua lukka chuppi ka khel, agar mujhse milna chahte ho to theek 11:30 baje mujhe green valley park mai milna, mai tumhara intejar karungi tumhari raah mai palkein bichaye hue…. Aaiyega jarur….

A: mai kabhi bhi wahan nahi jaunga… iss ladki ko pata chal jayega ki mujhe isske letters se koi farak nahi padta….

 

Ro: tu pagal hai armaan… mujhe lagta hai tujhe wahan jaana chahiye, aise mauke baar baar nahi milte, aaj tere pass bahut acha mauka hai usse pakadne ka, atleast pata to challe ki kaun pareshan kar raha hai???

 

A: (thinks a bit) haan waise tu sahi to keh raha hai, par riddhima???

 

Ro: are aaj to wo saara din busy hai, remember wo delivery case handle kar rahi hai, to wo to aaj free ho nahi sakti….

 

A: aur mujhe bhi jayda duties nahi milli…. great… to mai phir aaj iss ladki ka chakkar hi khatam kar deta hun, isski wajah se meri aur riddhima ki ladai ho gai, mera aaj ka din bhi spoil kar diya… (he stood up with determination and mumbled wait karna meri, mai aa raha hun ms secret…….. aaj tum nahi bachogi….)

 

Ro: gud gud…. Chal phir tu ja intejar kis baat ka???

 

A: tu kyun itna excited ho raha hai??

 

Ro: coz mai bhi jaan na chahta hun ki kaun hai ye jo tujhse itna pyar karti hai…

 

A: pyar huh..  (he laughed fakely) pshycho hai… chal abhi jaata hun, agar piche se kuch problem hui to call kar diyo….(saying  this he goes near reception…… and from back rohit showed his thumb to nikita who was hiding behind the pillar, as if saying kaam ho gaya, ab hume bhi challna chahiye.. they both laughed mysteriously and nikita said thanks to rohit….)
