Gunjan's speech was great - Page 2

I agree that the speech took me by surprise.. i wasn't expecting it to be on a serious note i thought she'd talk about friendship and trust but the speech was actually made much more generalized than her personal encounters and i loved that. I always appreciate when shows like these try to send out a well intentioned message to the audience and do a good job of it.

And i noticed too the gradual increase in Gunjan's confidence level and her noticing Samrat's half turned face and then looking for him in the audience later.. but during the rest of the speech i don't think they made eye contact much. She was looking for him and didn't find him since he was standing to her side and she didn' tlook there she was looking at the audience.

Also i think Gunjan might just win but its going to be a tie or something.. she'll end up being chosen to work with Purab most likely...for different segments of the program maybe.. or she won't get chosen at all but this wil help her in the confidence level.

Unlike some here i actually welcomed Purab's entry. I dont' see him as a threat to Sajan. He may turn out to be a good friend to Gunjan but possibly not a romantic interest like Samrat is. Sanjan call their relationship a friendship but the audience knows its more than that whereas Purab is a good friend material for Gunjan. He seems a cool and nice guy. Besides he is in love with a girl named... Vidushi.. who aparently was there during his speech and got pissed off about what he said at the end (if you miss one girl take the next one).. and she left..only her back was shown ( i don't think they've finalized an actor for that role yet). But neways i think Vidushi is the reason for Purab's sudden entry to Excel college and he will not turn out to be a tri-angle for Sajan.

Interesting points esp the ones about Purab-Gunjan working together. its possible. ideally, I'd like for her to win cuz it goes to show that quiet, shy people can make their voice heard especially in a competition like this. i guess it would send out a good message. but if Purab wins, I'll be ok with that as well.

i liked how gunjan linked her personal experiences w/Samrat to a more general message. i thought that was nicely done by the writers. and it didn't make it seem like she was trying to tell off Samrat either. it was so nicely done.

I hope you're right about Purab-Vidushi. but there seems to be way too characters in this show right now to add another jodi.

I think today's episode proved some more of what i said..

first that Purab is interested in another girl..

second that he'll be a good friend to Gunjan who is too simple for her own good.. Sammy seems just as clueless about the likes of Dia who do harm to their relationship.. whereas Purab is smart enough to read the intentions of other people.. like he did today with Aparajita who asked him to the ball so he could be an asset for her in teh competition.

So far i like his character and would be glad if he is not just a cameo and actually stays.

I disagree about too many jodis... the more the merrier.😳 As long as creatives can handle each track skillfully which i think so far they have.

I really enjoyed Gunjan's speech as well. Aprajita had confidence (bordering on arrogance) and Purab had a super-cool vibe, but only Gunjan's talk actually had substance. It was the kind of speech that can movitate people to introspect and realize their ability to "be the change they wish to see in the world." It was nice to see her slowly become more and more confident as she spoke, yet I still think she has a long way to go before she can be a good radio host. She needs to become more natural in the way she delivers her words (kind of like Purab)...But anyway, she's definitely headed in the right direction. 👍🏼

JC, I'm also happy about Purab's entry. I think his friendship will be beneficial to Gunjan in more ways than one. And if Sammy becomes jealous, that's even better! It'll probably inspire him to do even more to win her back.

hmm Samrat getting jealous ? after watching Tues episode,I feel he might go into depressed Devdas mode again. 😕 But if it makes him realize the importance of gunjan in his life, than i guess it would be ok. Though it would be nice to see the creatives show conflict in SaJan's story without a third party, for a change. 😆 first we had Dia and now Purab.
but creative, plz let them become friends first please before introducing more conflicts, third parties. 😆 i mean, i'm sure there r going to be many problems later on.


i agree on your points in the first para. it def wasn't a perfect speech and especially one for an RJ contest. but it was such a Gunjan style speech...consistent with her character, especially the manner in which she presented it. there is def potential for the future, which is great. there's some live show coming up next. I have a feeling Purab and Gunjan will work together, like Jinc mentioned in her earlier post.

Ohh, this is random but i love the way Aparajita asked Purab out to the Vday ball in her own cocky manner 😆😆 first time I actually liked her. 😆
