But I wonder why do they show Amma and Devki blaming Radhika for their own faults?😡😡 Vishaka ran away on her free will, which wasnt Radhika fault. They decided to make Radh take place of Vish which against wasnt Radh's decn. After all the marriage rituals, Vish comes back and Amma-Devki decide to send off Vish, again Radh has no say. She is a mere puppet or pawn in this. Now if Dev loves her, Radh did nothing to woo him, hence here to oshe had no role. Shastriji tells Radhi to go to the temple to give flowers and later to accompany him. Here to Amma blames Radhika?😕 Why? For all the insecurities residing within Amma and Devki, they blame Radhika? Just becoz she is an orphan, if so why did they bring her home then? Even Shastriji never stopped this discrimination despite being the head of the house and taking on responsibility for Radhika.

I see your point. They are going overboard with the "blame Radhika" incidents. Perhaps they are trying to "arouse" Radhika?

I have hope in the DJ-creative team. This is the same team which directed "Jassi Jaisi..." ... and Jassi too had to face her inner demons and finally emerge victorious. She metamophorsed from an "ugly duckling" into a gracious swan.

Will they follow the same theme here? Let us hope that, like Jassi, Radhika will learn to stand-up and face Amma, Devkiji and the rest of the world. I am not expecting her to reveal the truth about her marriage to anyone, but as a 21st century woman, I would like to see her take some steps to becoming more confident, more independent (perhaps start working?) ... so that she can live with dignity in the Shastri household.

For what is happening in these soaps, it gives the impression these women don't live in the 21st century. Only two people are strong, they are Mahi and Jhanvi, to the other women, take example and stand up for yourselves!!!

Thanks dear😛. Very true this rebuking Radhika is going overboard. Arouse Radhika is possible but if she revolts then wldnt she be disregarding the obligation Shastri ji and family did on her by giving her food, shelter etc. Just my thought, though I wld like to see Radhika become a strong charac.

I hadnt watched Jassi so dont know but of they show a metamorphorsis of Radhika into a person who has self esteem and an entity of her own, I am eager to look forward to it. I do hope DJs do show some sensibility.

Yes hope they do so. To an extent yes I agree with you but if we upheld marital values and rituals then Radhika needs to stand up for her right. I wld rather want Vishakha to start working since she is the wrong bride.

Yeah so true😆😆 all these women are so subservient as if they are slaves or bonded labourers. Who are Mahi and Jhanvi?😕 I dont think they are in Chotti Bahu.

Wow great point👏 , perhaps he has his father's genes and poor man cldnt live thru so bid adieu to this world😆😆

Yes that is perplexing as Shastriji does respect Devki. The only plausible reason seems to be she secretly enjoys the free slave hence doesnt object.😉

Mine too 😕. All I can think of is Radhika is so conditioned to all the tortures that somewhere they are a routine for her and more so since she feels so heavily indebted to Shastrijis for her existence that she feels nothing can repay this.
