Sonam, Deepika are friends.
The media may have flashed many stories of Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's rivalry. The gossip column may have filled up with stories like Deepika taking away Sonam's childhood friend Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam's debut disaster stories, Deepika shining bright and Deepika, Sonam as biggest contenders for films and endorsements. There have been endless stories that hit the headlines almost everyday regarding Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's animosity. But Sonam has put an end to all those wrong speculations by claiming Deepika as a very good friend.
Speaking about Deepika, Sonam said, "I have a nice vibe going with her. I have a nice vibe going with everybody in the industry. We (Deepika and I) have made our separate niches in the industry. Our kind of work is not the same."
Deepika also holds the same friendship feeling for Sonam, she said, "It's a nice equation that we share. I'm glad that all the awkwardness has gone. In fact, we avoid talking about work when we are together. It isn't a thought out thing. We prefer not to tread on each other's space. Sonam did see the trailers of the item number in my next film and was shocked to see my abs. I, on my part, am really looking forward to Delhi 6."
