feb11: ram decides to teach hauman a lesson

Part2:

Ram is pacing , worried. No one knows why?

Laxman asks him why?

He says :

I killed ravan, but he is descendant of a great saint, rishi PULASTYA. Ravan is a Brahmin by birth and I have killed him, this evil will definitely touch me.

Then sage agastya appears. Every one is delighted to see him. He tells Ram that:

Ravan was born in Brahman league but he was rakshashas in his behaviour, attitude, just like killing TARAKA did not inflict the sin of killing woman upon you, same way, killing ravan will not inflict the sin of killing a Brahmin. But still you are so disturbed , today is an auspicious day.

The sun is in KANYA rashi ( Gemini I guess?) and the sun is in BRISHAV rashi (Taurus) , if you establish a shivlingh today, all your guilt will be washed away.

Ram:

You made me get rid of my worries so well, I will definitely do it.

But Agastya is worried where they can get a shivlingh now. Hanuman volunteers to bring one. He says he can do anything if his lord wishes him too, he crossed the ocean, he uprooted dronagiri, he could have destroyed the whole family of ravan with his lords blessings. Then he departs.

From earth ram smiles a mischievous smile and from kailash lord Shiva smiles another mischievous smile.

Mother Parvati wonders what game they r up to. Lord Shiva replies :

Rams follower has got under the grasp of pride.

Parvati agrees and asks whether hanuman will be punished for this or not.

S: prabhu has a unique way of punishing people, juts wait and watch.

Hanuman is flying through air to find a shivlingh, but by grace of lord Rama he finds none. So he goes directly to kailash to meet lord Shiva.

He prays lord Shiva to grant him his darshan. But nothing happens.

Hanuman is worried, what if he doesn't get to meet lord Shiva and the auspicious moment passes by? No way can his lords deed be stopped.

So he takes up his huge form and searches for bholenath.

Back on earth, the auspicious moment is about to pass by. So Agastya advises ram to make a shivling out of sand and wordhip it. Accordingly ram and sita together starts to build a deity from sand. As soon as they finish making that sand shivling, lord shiva and mother parvati appears in fornt of hanuman. Hanuman reports them everything. Lord shiva grants his wish and gives him a shibling to take back.

Part3:

ram and sita under the guidance of all the sages, perform their worship. After its over, agastya blesses them . meanwhile, hanuman descends with the golden shivling given to him by lord shiva. He sees the puja is already over. Broken hearted he takes the ling back, when sita calls from back.

Hanuman says I am going to give this one to the sea, else this murti will be humiliated.

With smile hovering on their lips, ram and sita goes to him.

Hanuman is hurt and he says :

I would have come before the auspicious moment, still….

He turns back to the sea.

Laxman says :

I think he is hurt as you did not have your faith on him.

As hanuman is about to drown the shivling, ram calls him and asks him to bring back the golden shiv ling.

Ram asks :

Are you angry that I didn't wait for you? But I was worried, that the right moment was passing away!

Sita:

What to do now?

R:

Hanuman will decide what to do. Hanuman, drown the makeshift shivling and place the golden one there.

Hanuman readily agrees and goes.

He tries to uproot the shivling. He tries and tries but no matter how hard he tries, he fails to lift it.
