Hum tum ek kamre mein band ho… it's more than just a line from a Hindi film. VJ Ranvir Shourey and Konkona Sensharma relived the hit Bobby song last weekend. For some time now, there have been reports about Konkona and Ranvir being involved, but both denied it.
Aati kya Khandala?
According to an eyewitness, the couple booked a bungalow in Khandala, where they spent three heady days, lost in love. It was our filmi connection, who'd rented the adjoining bungalow, who spilled the beans about Bollywood's latest couple to us.
The source told us, "They looked very comfortable with each other. They'd come together; they weren't part of a group. But they stayed inside the bungalow all the time during their three-day stay. They didn't go out at all."
Konkona and Shourey met when they came together for Rajat Kapoor's Mixed Doubles (co-starring Jackie Shroff and Koel Purie).
When we had asked Ranvir about the Page 3 gal, he'd brushed it off with, "Konkona and I are good friends; we are not seeing each other. I am single. If it changes, I will let you know." If it changes with Konkona, he means? "If it changes with anybody." We are still waiting for your call, Ranvir.
DIFFERENT END: Pooja with husband Munish Makhija
Once bitten, twice shy
Perhaps Ranvir is wary about discussing his relationship with Konkona because the last time he was involved with an actress (Pooja Bhatt) it ended badly. On December 21, 2004, Ranvir filed a complaint against Pooja and her brother Rahul Bhatt, for assaulting him.
Ranvir met Pooja on the sets of her film, Jism; Shourey played John Abraham's friend. During the shooting, the couple got close, and started living together, till things went wrong.
