9th feb: agni ka pravandh karo laxman!

Sita is sitting depressed in ashok vatika, thinking only of ram and none other. Suddenly she sees ram in front of her. Ram in his heavenly grace comes and touches her. An overwhelmed Sita starts crying. Ram says :

Now your nightmare is over. I am coming to take you back home. Your love anddevotion has given me strengths to do what I deed. It has been my protection against the deadly weapons of ravan, his sons and his commanders. You are my strength, my power. Sita cries and touches ram's feet. Ram lifts her up, wipes her tears and tells her to stop crying, its time to laugh.

Then he vanishes and once again a sad sita sits down.

Meanwhile hanuman is flying through air to come to her. And he lands in ashokvatika.

Hanuman offers sita his pranam. Then he congratulates her and gives her the good news. He says , both ram and Laxman are fine, that evil ravan is defeated and dead. lord ram will come and fetch her and that she is no longer a captive lady.

Sita sheds tears. Hanuman is puzzled. Hanuman thinks its his fault or he did something wrong. But sita is crying because she expected ram to come and give her the good news himself , but ram didn't come to her.

However sita quickly recovers and tells that she doesn't have anything suitable to bless hanuman with, for bringing this good news. Then she blesses him :

I bless you that you will be dearest to your lord for ever and ever.

Then she tells hanuman to convey her message to lord ram:

His janki is impatient and grieving to see him. A moments delay is unbearable for her.

Hanuman tells her that he will definitely give this news to his lord, and asks for permission to leave.

Sita grants him leave.
