MUSIC TO EARS: A R Rahman's next stop is the Annual Academy Awards to be held on Feb 22.
New Delhi:
After bagging the prestigious BAFTA award for the Best Music Score for Slumdog Millionaire, music maestro A R Rahman is now waiting for the Big O – the Oscars.

"It's a perspective according to the film. Every score is according to a film and what is does to it. I am now looking forward to the big one," he said.

The film directed by Danny Boyle continued its winning streak, bagging seven BAFTA awards including the ones for Best Film and Director.

While Rahman has won the Award for the Best Music Score, another Indian, Resul Pookutty won for Best Sound Editing.

"It's a credit to the film itself and the spirit with which the film was made, the people who helped us make it and also that obviously transfers to the audience and how much they enjoy watching it. We've had a wonderful time and wonderful support in Mumbai and around the world," said Boyle.
