Why Does Rekha wear full mang sindoor ?

This is a photo of Rekha at the recent wedding of Bharat Shah's son Rajiv to Himani which was held at the Turf Club in Mumbai. It was attended by many Bollywood filmstars ( madhuri dixit,celina jaitley,ayesha takia etc) some photos are below and you can see more by clicking at the link below

But My question is why does Rekha always wear sindoor when she appears in public now a days? I mean last I heard she was still carrying the torch for Amitabh Bachchan ? A second wife maybe but in top secret ? or has she married someone quietly ? They were actually my favourite jodi from old movies !!

I do not think shes married to anyone especially big b in secret i wish people would not say that since hes married already ...maybe she is wearing it for someone.

Hey you really think guys are faithful just because they are married - thats sweet 😊

I actually heard that AB and Rekah are still going strong from a friend of mine who lives in Juhu Mumbai and that they have a flat there to meeting up . ( but this is probably just local gossip or rumours )

More honestly since they are my favourite oldtime jodi maybe its wishful thinking on my part but I think they make a much better couple than Jaya B and Amitabh 😉 Thats all I Meant

^^I am not a big b fan nor deluded enough to belive that men are faithful i just think married men should be left alone..

Not seen alot of their films but they are popular yes..rest guess they know best you never know suppose

Good question! I read few articles on this on the web.........here are some comments I came across

Now what we are mesmerized about is why did Rekha wear the sindoor at an event where her former lover was present? Could she be hinting at something… has Rekha secretly got married with someone? Or did she indeed get married with Amitabh Bachchan in the 70s and still regards herself as his wife?

Leave her alone guys. She applies sindoor because she looks good with sindoor. I think thats a good reason enough. Now this male chauvinist Indian media may also question her saree and hair.

Ogawd. I was going there straight from a film shooting… and I don't worry about people's reactions. By the way, I think it looks rather nice on me... sindoor suits me.

I dont think the sindoor thing coming from movie shoot applies as this is not the same photo - this one is from a recent wedding reception at the Turf Club Mumbai just a couple of days ago
