400 Barbers at Premiere of Billu Barber
Seems the newest trend in the film promotion game is to go for the unexpected and Shah Rukh Khan is upping that with his plan for the premiere of Billu Barber. King Khan has invited over 400 barbers and their families to see the film at the premiere! Interesting concept but why barbers you may ask? Directed by comedy master Priyadarshan the film stars SRK as a super star and Irrfan Khan as a village barber.
Priyadarshan said about the premiere plans, "Instead of having celebs over for the premiere of Billu Barber, Shah Rukh has planned to invite 400 barbers and their families to the premiere. His idea is to welcome barbers for the premiere on February 12, as the film revolves around Irrfan Khan, who plays a barber. Things are just getting organised for the premire and the office is also in talks with the barbers' association to get everything sorted for the big day."
The film with tagline "It's special to be ordinary" tells the story of the barber and star's friendship, the two were childhood friends and when the star comes to make a film in the village will the town believe they are friends and will the two meet again? To find out and to see the fabulous numbers with Deepika, Kareena and Priyanka you must see the film. Also starring Lara Datta, Billu Barber opens on Friday, February 13th!
