Did Armaan commit a crime?

What does Shashank mean when he said "...Armaan ne jo kuch kiya uske baad koi bhi pita use maaf nahi kar sakta..." He just fell in love with Ridz right? So, why was Ridz quiet and why didn't she say but what did he do? That's really weird. Shashank is talking as if Armaan literally committed a crime?Pls. reply ppl! I'm really confused!

i know really!! i thought shashank was smart!! but it turns out that he isn't!!!
and anjie too!!...i thought she would understand her sister's feelings! and isn't she a good friend of armaan's? doesn't she know how much he's done for everyone?
