Ten years on...
What caught our eye on the sets of Hello India was Akshay Kumar with a guy bearing an uncanny resemblance to him. What was Akshay doing with a body double, when he is known to not use one for his action scenes? Producer-director Shabnam Kapoor said,
"Although Akshay loves doing all his scenes, we used the lookalike for his crowd scenes."
Incidentally, Akshay has a track record of finishing all his incomplete films (Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahin and Police Force are two) years after the films went on floors. Hello India is a similar film which was launched as Purab Ki Laila Paschim Ka Chaila ten years ago and was supposed to mark the debut of Namrata Shirodkar, who has already bid goodbye to the industry.
