Comp virus- help please

Hi,

It seems that my computer is infected with virus. I have Symantec and it is able to detect the virus but I think it keeps coming back. Some of the names are "adaware.purityscan", "Errorthreat" etc. Also it seems to effect my google search engine and orkut. I am unable to login in orkut and the google is giving erroneous search results.
I have tried running Adawre Free version and online Trend net. I may be able to get rid of some of it, but I dont think I am able to get rid of it completely. I also tried deleting temporary internet files.

I believe the virus has come in from watching one of the free sites, may be from muftonlie, but am not too sure.

Please any inputs would be very very helpful

AVG is fantastic i sue that its great it scans ur comp n delets the viruses by it self too :)

Download Kaspersky AV, its the best, u get a 30 days trial with the download.

If you wish to make your PC virus free, try installing deep freeze immediately after formatting your PC, it will make your PC free from virus after that.
