"It is great to see excellence recognised. Rahman is an Indian talent to be proud of. I have heard a lot about Slumdog Millionaire which has my friend Anil Kapoor as part of the cast. I am looking forward to see the film," he said on Monday.
Aamir was in Mumbai for a day to attend the success party of his film Ghajini which has grossed over Rs 200 crore worldwide. He is currently shooting for Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots in Bangalore.
Aamir has a long association with the music composer. He has handled the music of Aamir's home productions Lagaan, Jaane tu..ya Jaane Na.
Rahman has composed the music for Ghajini. Besides, he has also scored the music of Aamir starrers like Rangeela and Rang de Basanti.
