hey guys well firstly jai shree ram

well the orignal ramayan says that the war betn laxman and indrajit was actually the war betn two satis that is urmilla and sulochna and it was a boon to indrajit tht he wld be killed by only that person who had sacrificed nind and aahar that is sleep and food for 14 years and laxmaji was the one as he had sacrificed this things for serving shri ram and also urmila had made a big sacrifice as we all know that she agrred with laxmanji s decision to go to exile without a word and so is referred as a gr88 sati so tht is the reason why the character of sulochna has been brought in the show.

well this frm the ramayan by tulsidaas i just thought of sharing with u all guys

nice topic. I read urmilla never shed tears and buried all suffering in her heart. that sacrifice also was contribution of urmila in lakshman might😳😳😳. my father told me this-at the time of leaving urmila came with puja thali to worship his lord lakshman at the door, but when she reached the door lakshman had already left. so she stood at the door continually for 14 yrs not moving and when lakshman return after 14 yrs she worshiped him and then only get inside away from door. so great her sacrificed was... hats off to urmila😛

Great Information Ratnaji!!!!!!!!!

I have also read somewhere that Shri Raam once had told Laxmaan that without defeating Indrajeet it was impossible to defeat Ravan. Hence the defeat of Indrajeet was a major contribution from both Urmila and Laxman. True, as you have pointed out that only a human who has sacrificed his "neend" and "ahaar" could only kill Indrajeet, ....its not only that but Indrajeet could be killed by only such a human who had maintained celibacy for 14 years, this was due to a boon that his wife Sulochona had got.
Hence, in Lord Ram's camp it was only Laxman who could have killed Indrajit and hence pave the way for Lord to kill Ravan. Thus Urmila's contribution though indirect was a huge one in the Ram-Ravan war.

Yeah, you're right. Also, thanks for the info Omshanti and Rajnish.😃
Urmila is my fav female character after Sita Mata. She is truly a great woman. Also, can we expect anything less from one who is the sister of Sitaji?😉 For me, Urmila is the ideal sister in Ramayan, because she took her elder sister's example and faced everything with patience.
