Actor John Abraham is a socially conscious and sensitive citizen who wants to do his bit to make this world a better place.
Be it posing for PETA or becoming the face of Indian football, John has always stepped up when it came to giving back to the society that has today made him a star. He is also working on his dream project – to build a hospital that would be his way of healing the world.
John says he presently doesn't have the required finance for the hospital but he has an unflagging intent and also the "goodwill of the entire medical fraternity".
"The hospital is a dream. There is nothing more satisfying in the world than healing," John is quoted as saying in a media report.
While there's still a lot of time before John's dream project realizes, the actor is set to play another important role in the coming days as the brand ambassador for the upcoming Mumbai marathon.
John feels that the marathon, coming in the wake of the terror attacks, acquires more meaning and significance because it acts as a unifying force for the people of Mumbai.
"I would be on the podium cheering on every one of the runners," John had said at a press conference at Trident hotel recently.
