Written Update - 05 January 2009

I try to do the updates asap. But since i rely on the video updates of the show to write the updates, it gets delayed. So anyone who watches the show in India and can volunteer to update, plz PM me. Otherwise don't open new topics everyday asking for updates.

Highlights

• Amma makes Radhika promise not to be part of Vish's wedding
• Chachu and Arjun provoke Mrinu
• Purab tells Vish that her meeting is fixed for the day of the wedding
• The purified water that was meant for Vish's haldi ceremony falls on Rads.
  

Brij Mohan tells Amma that Rads is part of this family and is Vish's sister and so he can't just throw her out (telling you this amma has lost her mind). Amma says that Rads is not part of the family and she is bad blood and has started to show her true nature because she is jealous of Vish. Brij mohan says why she will be jealous because she has taken care of Vish since childhood and Vish has never had any trouble because of her. Devki adds that Rads only tried to save the mehendi from falling and its not her fault that mehendi fell on her arm. Rads apologizes to Amma and says that all of it was an accident and swears on Kanha that she will never wish bad for Vish. Amma then takes her in front of Krishna's idol and tells her to swear if she really cares for Vish that she will not be part of any ceremony of Vish's marriage. Rads is too sad but she swears on Kanha and Amma is happy.

At night Rads is crying and Devki comes to her. She tries to smile but Devki tells her to stop pretending. She apologizes for Amma's behavior and feels sorry that she couldn't stop Amma from saying such horrible things to Rads. She brought some left over mehendi with her and is putting it on Rad's hand and tells her that without Rads the marriage ceremony will be lacking. Rads says not to feel bad as Amma says all those things because she loves Vish a lot and doesn't want any apshagun in the marriage. She tells Devki that Amma only stopped her from participating in the wedding but she will watch from far and pray for Vish as there is no limits on prayers. Devki hugs Rads and Brij Mohan watches this sadly.

Mrinu, Chachu, Arjun and Deepika are playing cards and Deepika throws a card that Mrinu finds useful and she wins. Arjun is scolding Deepika but Chachu says it not her fault at Mrinu plays so well. Mrinu complains that Purohit family find card playing as a sin and they are so backward thinking and it will only become worse when the choti bahu comes from such a small town. Chachu tells her to be careful and Mrinu says some dialogs about her not having any respect in the house. Arjun tells her not to talk so depressingly as they have much hope on her that she will be strong. Arjun and Mrinu have a sly eyelock session, Deepika doesn't like it and interrupts them. Mrinu tells chachu that now she will have to do something.

Next morning is haldi ki rasm and Rads is watching it from inside the house. Nandu comes and asks about her and goes to see her inside. He tells her why she is inside when everyone is dancing outside and she says no one is there to take care of the house. Nandu says he will stay with her then. Outside, Amma is explaining the ceremony to Vish. She says that after putting the haldi on the bride's sister goes to do pooja of the water and earth so that the bride will also have the nourishing qualities of water and earth and then after filling the pots with water the sister-in-law is supposed to bring the water and wash off the haldi from the bride making sure that the water doesn't drop on any other maiden. Then the bride is considered purified and ready for the marriage.

Vish is annoyed and thinks why Purab hasn't contacted her yet. Just then the phone rings and Vish goes to pick it up. Purab tells her that her meeting is fixed with a director tomorrow. Vish is happy but then remembers that tomorrow is the wedding. She yells at Purab that he always does things late and its because of him that she agreed to all the rasms but now she can't leave her parents to face the situation. She spares a thought for their izzat. Purab tells her that its her dream to become famous and not his so she should find a solution for this too and hangs up. Vish thinks what she can do now.

Some lady comes searching for Radhika as the brides sister is supposed to do the pooja. Devki tells her that Vish's cousin Bela will do the pooja. Some ladies sitting by comment that Radhika is afterall adopted and they have proven it now by showing this difference. Devki and Rads feel really bad. Amma tells them not to wait for Rads as she will take forever to get dressed and ready and if she cared for her sister then she would have come by now. Nandu says that he will go tell them that Rads is ready but Rads stops him. Amma comes inside and tells her to change her clothes as there is no use of her wearing new clothes for the day or watching the ceremonies. Bela does the pooja of the pots and then goes with the women after filling water. Rads is watching them from behind a tree. As the ladies are passing the last woman bends a little and the water splashes right on Rad's face and she is shocked remembering what Amma told Vish about this ceremony.
