Is played by Mayank Anand who has acted in serials such as Hello Dollie and Hotel Kingston.
Rahul is a guy who is slick and cool!! His character was introduced against Armaan. But now he has changed & is the only one who knows about the AR relation. He has won every1's hearts & become friends with all. He's completely besotted by Muskaan.

~Muskaan Chadda~

Is played by Drushti Dhami who has not acted in previous soaps. She is the ambassador of Reliance Mobile and you will see her in many ads for that matter. Dr. Muskaan is her first real role. Muskaan is a girl from Punjab who is the comedy element in everyone's live. She has been a shown a girl who makes even the sterness of Dr. Keerti smile. Muskaan has only one enemy and that is Rahul. Rahul and Muskaan together bring laughter into the show. In times of need, Muskaan is always ready for her laughter to fill anyone's life.

Dr Rahul is proving to be a headache for the crew of Dill Mill Gaye and the only cure may be to kick him off the show

Mayank Anand aka Dr Rahul from Dill Mill Gaye may be given the boot for his high-handed ways on the sets. Reportedly, he ordered lunch worth Rs 17,000 and is known for throwing tantrums during the shoots.

As a result, the script may just take unexpected twists where Dr Rahul might get a bulawa by his mum.

Then he may just have to pack his bags and head off to the US in a hurry, thus cutting his character off the show with surgical precision.

The wound is deep, as the production house insists vehemently. Sources say, that Mayank has been asked to leave the show. According to a source from the production house, "Mayank was throwing tantrums on the sets. It was becoming very difficult for everyone to work with him.

Once, many artistes waited for four hours to shoot one scene with Mayank, but he did not show up and the production team was clueless about where he might be. Everyone was so upset that they complained about it to the producers Cinevista."

The list of complaints doesn't end here. Apparently, Mayank is blissfully unaware of the recession and decided to splurge on a lunch, while passing on a fat bill to the production house. The source added, "Once he wanted to eat food from outside.

This lunch was worth Rs 17,000, (meant for other people on the sets as well). The producer paid for his expensive lunch. At times, actors can order food from outside, but there is a limit. These are only two incidents, but there are many more like this."

Mayank admits that he is leaving the show, but denies there are any rifts between the production house and him. He said, "Who told you this? I am leaving, but there is no problem with the other artistes or the production house.

Initially when I joined Dill Mill Gaye, my role was for four months only. The role picked up and was liked by Cinevista, so they increased it. I asked them to give me a break as acting is not the only thing I do. Things did not work out, so I am leaving."

Siddharth Malhotra, Producer, Cinevista is reasonably diplomatic about the issue. He said that they had a long discussion, but he was unable to meet Mayank's demands.

He concludes, "We have still not written the script for next week's episode. We will try and come to a mutually beneficial conclusion but if things do not work out, then I hope that Mayank leaves the show on an amicable note."

The blue eyed boy of Dill Mill Gayye, Dr. Rahul (Mayank Anand) is making his way out of the show. The news has it that he was getting too demanding on the sets and the production house was unable to cope with his demands. Hence the production house and Mayank have mutually decided to part ways.

A source informs, "The demands of Mayank Anand were getting unaffordable for the producers of Dill Mill…. In fact the food that he ordered on the set cost a bomb. Finally the production house and Mayank had a discussion which resulted in a mutual decision that Mayank would leave the show. The creative team is now working on the script and planning to end his character."

Mayank explains, "Certain things are being worked out. Till then, I won't be able to confirm anything. You will come to know soon." Talking about the reason for his exit from the show, he said, "It is just that I had a chat with my producers and in the best interest of both the parties, this step is being planned."

Producer Siddharth Malhotra said, "We are planning his exit from the show simply because his role was a cameo of four months and we can not accommodate certain demands that he is making. But there is still time for everything to be finalised."

So the moral of the story is the recession has hit everyone. So keep those bills on check.

I want to say congratulations for making it to the next resort. We were going through resorts on almost a weekly basis and hope to keep it up.

With the really bad news this week of Mayank leaving.. I hope we can stay somewhat optimistic and continue to visit here. I really wish him the best of luck if he does truly leave. Lets just wait and see what happens.. Hopefully they leave RM in a good light where we can continue to hope they will be together!
