Wrong Program Name and/or concept and judges?

Someone who wrote the summary of the Indian Idol program wrote

"The show format of Indian Idol does not limit itself to scanning only singing talent but also looks out for an overall 'performer'. The show intends to give the youth of today their 'own icon'; an individual who in addition to being a talented singer is also someone the youth can relate to... be it attitude, style, desire to win and fight for the ultimate stardom."

I think this concept does not match what we see in the program or in the forum. Somehow this program has become more about Gender equality more than the whole singing talent, performer stuff(anyway the results in the past year are getting you that either), so to make everyone happy, here is a change I propose

1. I think the program should be renamed to "Indian Injustice - IV"

2. The concept should how girls/women in India are discriminated against

3. The judges should include members of NCW, here is the profile --> http://ncw.nic.in/ (I dont think it would be any worser than the current bunch of judges)

Don't you think you're going a little bit overboard with this. I mean I think we've all concluded now that the show sucks. But nobody is forcing anyone to watch it. Ignore it, move on with your lives, find another show to fill that time slot so your life doesn't become completely meaningless. 😆

me getting overboard😆, nope, just going by the sentiment of everything I see on the show and I am commenting on a factor that is dominating the show, atleast some of the judges have made that as a priority of judging criteria, If I read some of the threads here, I know it is not a figment of my imagination😉

Well about my life being meaningless, well gee thanks😛, but no thanks😊, when it comes time for me to take an advice from some drive-by on the forum or giving an advice to someone on the forum on their lives, I would think I am spending too much time watching Television or on the forum😉. Currently I am at the phase where I am on the forum to express my opinion about a show I watched and last I checked that was the intent of this forum/section and wasnt "I know everything about everybody", lemme give you a "life advice section" of the forum😆

Sure you should come here and discuss the show, but c'mon now, suggesting that the NAME of the show and the CONCEPT should be changed, that is going overboard. Why not be like everyone else and bash the judges? But hey, guess you like being different. 😆

And I didn't mean that your life is meaningless (but from what I see where you're getting at, I may be forced to make that conclusion 😉), I just meant if it would become meaningless you should fill up that time slot, keep yourself busy so you don't have to stress out about something as unsubstantial as II. 😆 And I'm a drive-by on the forum? My, my what are we hinting at here? I'm a regular visitor on the forum, perhaps you didn't know that. As far as me spending too much time on the forum goes, well I wish, life's too busy to do that though. But hey, whenever I do come here, I figure I should do someone else some good as well, hence the free advice. Take it, it'll help you in the long run. 😉

P.S. I don't know everything about everybody. But I do know something about somebody. 😉

Are you one of those self proclaimed havaldars of the section that goes around telling people what they should and should not do? And I don't disagree with you. I think we all have concluded that the show sucks and the judges have officially lost their minds. But you're suggesting that they change the name and concept of the show. I was just saying that that's going a little overboard. You took it to a personal level and said that you don't want to get to know me and that I'm preachy, and I should keep my advise to myself etc. etc. 😆

Anyways, backing off now. Didn't mean any offense whatsoever.

These talent hunt shows are real disappointments now......... SVOI2, II04....the shows are not even half as good as their previous seasons👎🏼
