Okay, so everyone has now found out that Alek's mom REALLY misses and loves him. BUT what happened before that created such a big distance between them? Did Vasu do something to him? Was Alek born as a disabled person or something happened? Is it not shown in the serial yet?

(I'm kind of just started watching the show)

they have not shown anything regarding why he hates vasu but they have shown that alek was in this shape b/c one time during diwali he went to his grandfather who he was really close to and the grandfather died since then he thinks he killed his grandfather and the cops are after to get him. when in reality his grandfather died from an illness (not sure what it was maybe heart attack) that why he is mental
