Israeli air strikes kill 195 in Gaza; Arab League meet summoned

GAZA: At least 195 Palestinians were killed and 200 others injured across the Gaza Strip on Saturday in massive Israeli air strikes.

Police chief Taufiq Jaber was among the dead people.

Arab League has summoned its meeting in view of the situation arising out of Israeli attack in Gaza while the EU has stressed Israel to put an immediate stop on the aggression.

According to details, Israeli Air Force heavily bombed the Hamas hideouts and rained rockets here. Eyewitnesses said that Israeli fighter planes bombed Hamas Tehrik Compound and other installations here.

Security sources confirming the raids said that at least 30 Compounds of Hamas have been destroyed in the Israeli attacks.

Warplanes also targeted the police headquarter where a graduation ceremony of fresh police officials was being held and police chief Taufiq Jaber was also killed in the attack.

Hospital sources confirmed more than 195 deaths and said that 200 people were injured who were shifted to hospitals for medical aid.

Israel vowed on Saturday to keep up deadly air strikes on Hamas-run Gaza Strip for "as long as necessary," saying it has "no other option" than a military operation on the Palestinian enclave to stop rocket fire.

i really don't know why Palestine and Israel always fight with each other. people on both sides are killed almost everyday.
but 195 people is a lot, but terrorists from Palestine attacked Israel first. but Israel should go after the terrorists, not innocents

Its easy to talk about others what have we indians been going through for the last so many years !! The same terrorism through which we have lost thousands of lives of our innocent people !!

its 200 summit nw... ridiculous... zulm ki hadh hoti hai...woh bhi innocent ppl..honestly... ab koi bol nahin raha wen every1 int th country has died.. why arent other countries sendin out their intelligence to tht country to fidn thse ppl nw??? [:S] are thy nt humanz or wat? here u see the so called humanity n the GREAT givernments who tlk alot bt dnt do nuffin..why nt help tht country aswell nw!

yes the whole world is sleeping i hate israel...they always kill innocent palestines specially childrens

yahoodi toh hai hi aisa.. jab jahan teh hona tha ho gaya..who r we to hate n lyk em.. haan we do get jazbaati coz killin innocent ppl..women men kids... thts sick.. par achi baat yeh hai ke we shud think ke we bleev asli life to woh hai na jab duniya khatam hogi jab insaan khatam hoga.. tab inka kya hoga... aur hum kahan honge..u shud jus thnk bout tht n feel happy... kyonki asli life woh hai..aur jitna karo is lif mein us lif eke liye karo...😊 n ths world has becum selfish... par anjaam is in his hands up there... aur all thse are qayamat ki nishaaniyan..😊

It's sad to see innocent people suffering on the both d sides but only when ur people are facing u ppl will feel sorry for it...and will be ready to blame isarel but when Indians face d same problem then u ppl won't feel anything instead u ppl go on supporting the country responsible for it...ok i think it's inappropriate 2 bring India here .

But this is happening because of Gaza militants...😡..Israel is responding to the rocket and mortar fire by Gaza militants..
