Hi Friends, Hope your all well. 😃 Been a while since I posted something in the forum. I have a little SS for you all this Christmas. Wasn't easy for me to write this one…seriously have lost my touch at writing now😕… but some of you really pushed me…ab hogaya. 😆 This one is for Sheenu, Khushboo, Piku, Navs, Huma and Preet, Kanta, Rabi, twinkles, farah, Rama, Vedo and all those who wanted me to write something again.Tried my best..hope u all enjoy it.

Merry Kiss-Mas Sweetheart

It was Christmas Eve and the shopping malls in Mumbai were packed with shoppers rushing around trying to grab that last Christmas gift for their loved ones. Bani had arrived at the mall late in the evening, Jai had promised to meet up with her saying together they would do some Christmas shopping…but after waiting quite some time at the entrance she knew he wasn't going to show up. 😔

For the past two months Bani had barely seen Jai. Ever since his business expanded to other parts of the world…he was always busy with work. He would leave early in the mornings come home late too. Bani really hoped to spend some quality time with him over Christmas…but it looked like that wasn't going to happen. Jai had promised to join her for Christmas shopping at least but looking at the time…it seemed highly unlikely that he would make it now.. When she looked around the mall and saw other families having fun, eating, buying presents together… her heart sank. She really missed Jai these past few weeks but there wasn't anything she could do about it….she knew that she had to live with this...after all she was married to the most biggest business tycoon in India.

Sighing deeply Bani looked down at her two beautiful children Atharva and Krishna, as they stood gaping at the huge Christmas tree in the mall. If not for her, she wished Jai had at least come for the kids, they were really looking forward to spend sometime with him today. However now that he wasn't coming she had to make sure they had just as much fun, as they would with Jai, and make their day enjoyable. Putting on a bright and cheery smile on her face…she held her children's hands firmly and walked off around the stores. There were some special reindeer rides in the mall, which both the children insisted on going on. Bani seated them both together and watched them go round. They laughed and waved each time they passed Bani. 👏 Bani felt on top of the world seeing her children so happy…she wished Jai was with her sharing this moment. Later she bought them both ice creams… then continued shopping around… grabbing gifts for the family.

Whilst browsing through some stores something caught Krishna's eye.

Krishna(tugging the end of Bani's saree): Mama! wahaan sab bache kya kar rahe hai?

Bani (looks over): Wahaan? Oh…that's Santa's Grotto. Sab bacche Santa ko milne ke liye line mein khade hai?

Atharva: Mama…hum bhi chale?

Bani (frowns looking at the long queue): The queue is fairly long beta….(Atharva and Krishna look up at her hopefully. Seeing their sweet little faces she couldn't refuse) Haan kyun nahin…anything for you guys. After all Christmas joh hai…aur Santa se toh milna hi chahiye! Right?

Atharava and Krishna: Yayyyyyyyyy…Mama ur the best!

Krishna (running up ahead…joins the queue): Hum Santa se milenge! Kitna mazaa ayega

Bani: Krishna Atharva, be good and wait patiently in the line quietly…kaafi der lagegi

Krishna bobbed her head about a little…trying to get a better glimpse of the brightly coloured fairy lights all over the log cabin

Krishna: Mama Santa wahaan pe rehte hai Unka ghar hai?

Bani: Haan beta.

Krishna: Mama…mujhe god mein uthao na? Santa ka ghar dekhna hai…nahin dikh raha hai…sab beech mein khade hai. 😔

Bani put the bags she was holding down…kept them aside… then picked up Krishna.

Bani: Ab dikh raha hai?

Krishna: Wow! Bahut accha hai…kitna saare lights hai unke ghar pe! Mama dekho.!! Bahar snowman bhi hai!!

Atharva: Kahaan??? (on his toes..trying to get a glimpse) I can't see….Krishuuuu neeche utro!!! Mujhe bhi dekhna hai.

Bani (sighs) Krishu..beta ab tumhare Bhai ko bhi dekhne do..theek hai? (puts her down)

Krishna (kicks Atharva): Meri copy karte ho! 😡

Atharva (pulls his tongue out 😛): Mama…godiiii!!!! (arms out)

Bani (picks him up): Can u see?

Atharva: Cooolllllll…Mama there is a snowman!! Santa Claus sach mein andar hai? Hum baat kar sakhte hai unse? 😊

Bani: Haan beta…aur tumhe gift bhi denge

Atharva: Really?

Bani: But for that you have to behave and be patient. Ok? Now come on get down..Mama is getting tired…your getting very big for Mama.

Krishna: Kha kha ke balloon hogaya hai Atharva bhaiya!

Atharva: Krishuuu ki bacchii!!! (pulls her plait) 😡

Krishna: Mama…dekho na… Bhaiya ne meri choti kheechi (rubbing the back of her head) 😡

Bani: What did I say children…behave yourself varna Santa gifts nahin denge.

Atharva and Krishna quickly quietened down and waited for the queue to go down. Bani looked around the mall hoping Jai would come. She dialled his number but it was unreachable. She really wished he was here…it was difficult handling the twins at times.

After waiting for around 30 mins, Atharva and Krishna's turn finally came to see Santa.
Atharva and Krishna couldn't contain their excitement and rushed forward by the gate of the grotto…only to be stopped by one of the elves…named Kanta!

Kanta: Just a minute children, must wait for the other kids to come out before u can go in.

Krishna (giggling): Aapke kapde kitne funny hai…(giggles…looks at her badge) Aapka naam K se…mera bhi…Krishna!

Kanta: Nice to meet you Krishna...my name is Kanta…mein Santa ki…

Atharva (cuts her off): Santa ki Kanta ho??? (laughs) 😆(something like that! 😆)

Bani: Atharva!! 😲

Atharva: Santa's Kanta! Santa's Kanta!!

Bani: Atharva!! Behave your self…chhup ho jao! Kanta sorry about him…can be really crazy at times.

Kanta: Its ok…can't help it if my name rhymes with Santa. (looks over her shoulder…gets her cue from another elf) oh..seems like you can go in now. Have fun.

Atharva and Krishna rushed into the grotto. Bani followed behind quickly...lowering her head a little as she entered the small cabin.

Inside Krishna and Atharva gaped with their mouths wide open at all the beautiful Christmas decorations and lights. 😃 It looked magical inside…it was like they were in some other world. They saw Santa sitting in a large chair next to a huge trunk full of gifts. Dressed in a red and white outfit, long white beard, moustache and a pair of silver glasses ..which fell at the end of his nose…he smiled sweetly.

Santa (deep voice): Ho! Ho! Ho!! Who do we have here??

Atharva (rushed forward…jumped onto Santa's lap): Wow!! Aap sachi Santa Claus ho?? 😊

Krishna (pouting): Oyeeee!! Pehle mein baithungi!!!! 😡 Main chhoti hoon.!

Atharva: Soooo! I got here first! Haina Santaji?

Santa (chuckles): Pehle toh yeh hi ponch gaye…but hey its Christmas so you can sit on my lap too…in fact ur mummy can too…if she wants! (checks Bani out from top to bottom then winks at her) 😉

Bani's eyes popped out! 😲

Krishna: Mama..aajao…sab baith te hai!

Bani: Mein yaheen pe theek hoon. (mutters something under her breath on hearing Santa's remark) 😡

Santa (clears throat): So..K…urrmm…aap dono ke naam kya hai?

Krishna: Mein…Krishuuu…Krishna Jai Walia! (grinning proudly)😃

Atharva: Mein Atharva Jai Walia…sabse best!

Santa (laughs) Sabse best hey? (chuckles again) So tell me aap dono ko Christmas par kya chahiye?

Krishna (giggles): Mama…yeh Santa..kitneeeeee budde hai!! Daari white white…eyebrows bhi white…inki ankhen bhi light blueeeeee

Atharva: Shut up Krishu!!! Always bak bak…Santaji..mujhe Christmas par ek racing car chahiye..Papa ko kabse kaha…lekin bhool gaye…bahut busy rehte hai… 😔

Santa: I am sure he hasn't forgotten…sometimes parents do get a little tied up with things but they always find time for their children somehow.

Krishna (giggling..poking her fingers into Santa's tummy): Mama…Santa kitne motte hai…(hugs him) but he's sooooo cuddly like a teddy bear!!! 🤗

Santa: Thank You Krishna. Kya kehti ho Mrs Walia? Do you agree with Krishna…wanna give this Santa a hug and find out for yourself? Ho! Ho! Ho! 😉

Bani swears at him in her mind...looks away. 😡

Santa: Krishna…is your mummy in a bad mood??

Krishna: Papa ke wajahse..hamare saath shopping nahin aaye na issiliye!

Atharva: Mood off hai!

Santa: Ohhhh I see. What sort of a husband and father is he! Should be with his family on Christmas eve…

Bani: Excuse Me! Mr. Walia ke baare mein kuch nahin kahiye. Aap apna kaam kijiye. 😡

Santa: Oops, sorry…(whispers to Atharva) Lagta hai bahut pyaar karti hai aapke Papa se?

Atharva (whispers): Bahut…always do that kissy wissy thing.

Krishna (joins in the whispering): Everyday!!

Bani (suspicious): Hey…kya baatein ho rahi hai?? 🤔

Santa: Kuch…kuch bhi to nahin..(clears throat) Ho! Ho! Ho!

Atharva: Aap everytime… "Ho! Ho! Ho!" Hi kyun kehte hai? 😆

Santa: Yeh toh har ek Santa bolta hai..urr…anyways…Krishna... tell me… what do you want for Christmas? Athrava ne toh bata diya… tum batao

Krishna: I want…urrr…my Barbie Doll. Papa promised…par nahin lay 😭

Santa: Aww…listen if you both close your eyes….wish and pray…all your wishes will definitely come true…Christmas tak tumhare Papa tumhare gifts bhi le ayenge aur tumhare saath zyaada waqt bhi guzaarenge!

Atharva and Krishna (both): Really?

Both closed their eyes and prayed. Bani looked on at them...getting a little teary. The kids really missed Jai these past few months. Atharva and Krishna opened their eyes again.

Santa: Now…do u want your gift from me (both nodded excitedly as Santa handed them two boxes) Urrrm…Mrs Walia…wouldn't you like to take a photo of your kids with me. Other parents have been doing that

Bani: Yeah….(pulls out her mobile) Krishna Atharva…idhar dekho…give Mama and big smile.

Atharva and Krishna grinned widely…Bani smiled as she took the photo..then frowned when saw Santa wink at her again 😉

Bani (mumbles): Bade besharam Santa hai...pata nahin yahaan Santa kaise bangaye..chalo bacho ghar chalte hai..bahut der ho rahi hai. 😡

Atharva and Krishna gave one last hug to Santa before hopping off and running outside. Bani turned to follow them out but felt herself being pulled back… landing on Santa's lap! 😲

Bani: Just what do you think you are doing??? How dare you!!! 😡

Santa: Bachon ne toh apni wish maang li...aap apni bataye zara…shayad mein poori kar doon? (Kisses Bani on the cheek firmly..then turns her face and smooches her!)

Bani (extremely mad 😡): How Dare…How…you… Yukk..I've got hair in my mouth!. (spits out) How dare you kiss me like that! Pata nahin aap jaise insaan ko Santa kisne bana diya! ….(stands up!) You… 😡

Santa: No need to get mad…you were under the mistletoe…(points up) couldn't help myself. 😉Never had such a gorgeous girl in my grotto before. Now come on be a good girl and tell me what you want for Christmas.

Bani: I wish my husband were here so he can punch you in the face for what you just did! But seen as though he is not here…I am gonna have to the honours! (slaps Santa hard across the face!)

Santa: Bani…godammit!!! Kitni zor se…!

Bani (shocked 😲): You..just …you just said my name…(looks closely…pulls the beard away) AAAPPPP!!! 😲

Jai: Merry Kiss-Mas Sweetheart! 😳( laughs…rubbing his cheek!) Kitni zor se maarti ho Bani

Bani: Aap..aap itni derse..yahaan…aap…

Jai: Yep its me. I know sweetheart I said I wouldn't be coming…but actually I wrapped up all my work last night…wanted to spend some quality time with you all. Thought I'd have some fun with you guys...came up with the idea...when I followed you here to the mall and saw you queuing up to take Krishna and Atharva into the grotto.. My two sweet angels... Preet and Huma, (points)

Preet: Hi Mrs Walia! Merry Christmas

Huma: Merry Christmas! Isn't he one helleva sexy santa!

Jai (continues): …helped me out a lot. Got another Santa's outfit for me and all. Asli Santa toh bahar baitha hai. I came in here just as you guys entered.

Bani: Oh god! Mr. Walia aapne itna accha plan kiya humaare liye aur…I am so sorry…I…hit you…so sorry. 😔

Jai: Its ok…I'll live

Bani: I must say you do look rather cute in this attire..,(laughs...pokes him in the stomach...then hugs him) 🤗 Krishnu is right you are very cuddly!! Ur wearing contacts too…tabhi pehchaan nahin paye. So glad your here with us. (hears footsteps) Someone's coming…aap ki daari…pehni lijiye…kissi bacche ne dekh li toh problem hojayegi

Jai quickly put the beard back on…hugged Bani again

Krishna (barges back in again): Hohhhhhhhh… 😲 Mama aap Santa ko huggy buggy de rahe ho?? Papa ko bol doongi!!! (bol dena!)

Bani: Krishnu..woh…woh tum keh rahi thi na ke Santa bahut cuddly …just checking…

Krishu: Haina cuddly? I told you (wraps her arms around his legs) Just like my Papa is!! 🤗

Real Mall Santa (enters): Excuse me...is everything over? Can I…

Krishna: Hohhhhhhhhh…do do santa's? 😲
Real Santa: Urr…uh-oh!! I came in too early? (goes back out)

Krishna ran out screaming at the top of her voice

Krishna: OH MY GOD!!!! ANDAR DO DO SANTA'S HAI!!! 😲

Crowd all look puzzled…mutter amongst themselves

Atharva: Krazy Krishu…Santa ek hi hota hai

Krishna: Sachi…chalo…dikhati hoon

Inside The cabin again

Bani: Mr. Walia…take this suit off before Krishna comes in…

Jai quickly took off the red suit and contacts..then hid the beard just as Krishna entered again with Atharva

Atharva & Krishna: Papa!!

Atharva: Kahan hai doosra Santa? Yeh toh hamare Papa hai. You came Papa! (hugs him) 🤗

Jai picked him up and hugged him tight..pecking his cheek. Krishna ran into his arms too.

Krishna: Lekin yahaan do do Santa the..Papa nahin the. (looking around) 🤔

Atharva: Krazy Krishu…Santa ne wish poori ki…hamare Papa agaye…ab hamare gifts bhi milenge

Jai: Of course! Tumhare gifts yaad hai mujhe saath mein laya hoon. Mein kya mere pyaare bacchon se door reh sakhta hoon it acche din par. Sorry for not spending time with you guys...but from now on I promise…we will do lots of masti ok and have fun.

Atharva and Krishna: Love u Papa!!!

Jai: Love you all too…ab ghar chale.

As Jai stepped out with his family, the woman that were queuing with their children outside sighed deeply upon seeing Jai.

All: Haiiiiiii 😍

Navs: He's the other Santa??? Mera camera kidhar hai?

Ayesha, Sanam, Piku, chevy, lali, Neetu wolf whistle.

Rama: Itna chikna Santa maine aaj tak nahin dekha! 😳

Sheena: That is one Santa that can come down my chimney any day!!!

Farah (sings): My heart is beating…keeps on repeating…I'm coming for you…

Sam: Oh Farah…chhup kar gaana shaana…Veer...take the kids home…mein Santa se milkar aati hoon. 😃

Preet: Urmm calm down ladies…

Huma: Yes calm down…aap sab ke Santa andar hai…yeh humare liye hai. (drooling) ❤️

Tam: Tumhari liye? Keep dreaming woman!!

Fatima: Mein toh gifts issi Santa se loongi 😃

Teenzs: Me tooo….gosh he's such a dreamboat. ❤️

Taz: Oh my goddd!! He's standing under a mistletoe!! (points!) (Yeah i know…your wondering what I am doing here...well I wasn't gonna miss this now was I!) 😳

Jai (whispering): Krishuuu…yeh kya kiya tumne??

Bani laughed softly.

Krishna (innocently): Maine kya kiya? 🤔

Jai: Sab ko kyun bataya ek aur Santa hai…sab mujhe Santa samaj rahe hai…

Krishna: Aap Santa ki tarah cute haina…issiliye! (giggles..then kisses his cheek) 😆

Jai: Bani…how do I get out of here…without being mobbed? Raped even?

Bani: Maybe you should have taken the back exit of the grotto. Ab toh gaye kaam se. Not only are you gonna get mobbed but bankrupt too! Sab ko gift dena padega shayad. (laughs)

Atharva (stepping in): Uffo! Yeh Santa thodi na hai…mere Papa hai…humme surprise kiya! He's very busy…always….but he came here eps..epspecially for me and my sister!

All: Awwww…chooo sweet

Harvs: But your little sister just told everyone that there are two Santas, And we like this Santa can't he stay and listen to all our wishes for Christmas?

Roohi: Yeah… come on let him stay. He's a very handsome looking Santa! 😳

Atharva: Aap logo ke Santa andar the. Shayad thodi der bahar gaye honge…toilet gaye honge! Itni der se baithe the. Bathroom toh sab ko lagti hai! But he'll be back.

Jai and Bani wanted to laugh at Atharva and the excuse he came up with.

Atharva: Yeh hamare Santa…I meansss...Papa hai…aur hum ab party karenge…xmas party…so bye bye 😛…chalo papa…Mama…drags them out quickly)

All the women groaned in disappointment…. watching their handsome Santa leave.

Jai (sighing with relief): Pheww!! Thanx beta! Tumne toh meri jaan bachali, varna sab aurte mere peeche pad jaate. Chalo ghar chalte hai.

As Bani, Jai, Krishna and Atharva began leaving the mall…Bani stopped briefly in front of one of the jewellery stores and gazed in the window. She noticed a "sold" sign on a pair of earrings she was keen on buying. She was hoping to get them today…but they were sold out now. 😔 Jai continued walking out with the kids when he turned back to see Bani staring in the shop window still...so walked back to her

Jai: Bani..ruk kyun gayi..ghar nahin chalna? Kuch lena baaki hai?

Bani: Nahin…kuch nahin… chaliye.

In the car

Atharva and Krishna had dozed off, still clutching their gifts that Santa had given them. Bani sat quietly gazing out of the window.

Jai (looking over to her): Bani…itni chhup kyun ho? Say something I'm getting bored.

Bani turned to look at him. A tear rolled down her face. 😭

Jai: Bani…your crying…why…what happened? (stops the car…puts his arm around her)

Bani (looking at his face, touches the scratch on his cheek): I…I'm sorry I slapped you. You have a mark on your face too…I'm really sorry. 😭

Jai (laughs) Bani…iss baat pe rou rahi ho? Arre forget it na. You didn't know it was me…and I was just having fun.

Bani: Phir bhi anjaane mein maine aap ko…

Jai: Haan anjaane mein hi na…please forget it. At least I know now never to be in your bad books, kaafi zordaar haath hai tumhara. 😆

Bani (smiled a little…punched him lightly in the arm): Stop teasing…

Jai: That's more like it Bani…you know I don't like to see u upset. Hey..here's something that will cheer you up Bani..(gets something out of his pocket). Merry Christmas.

Bani: Mere liye? Kya hai?

Jai: I know your not supposed to open presents before xmas…but you can (winks)

Bani quickly unwrapped the gift box, and opened it. Her eyes grew wide seeing the earrings she had her heart set on 😃

Bani: But these…these were sold out…when did you?

Jai: Bani…I know you had your heart set on them for a while…the last time we came shopping together, yes I know it was a while…I caught you admiring them…I had brought them for you then…thought it would be a nice xmas gift for you.

Bani: Thanx Mr. Walia…pehnloon?

Jai: Of course. Here let me help…(helps remove her earrings then put the new ones on) Beautiful. Chalo..ab jaldi se mera xmas gift do.

Bani: I don't have it.

Jai: You do have it…and I want my gift right now…this…(leans over and places a gentle kiss on her cheek) 😳

Bani (blushing): Bacchen gaadi mein hai…baad mein… 😳

Jai: They are sleeping…come on…I think I deserve one hot kiss from my wife after..(rubbing his cheek)

Bani: Aap bhi na…(leans forward and captures his lips. Both continue to kiss for a while) ❤️

Jai (in between kisses): Missed being with you Bani these last few weeks…Mmm…promise to spend more time with you and the kids…Mmm…I was thinking…after Christmas…farmhouse chalte you me and the kids…celebrate news years there

Athrava: Farmhouse! Yipeeeee!!!

Jai and Bani broke apart quickly…looked in the back. 😲

Atharva: Krishnaaaaaaaa utthoo…sleepy head…hum farmhouse jayengi!! With Papa!

Krishna: Huhhh…farmhouse?

Jai: Tum kab uthe Atharva?

Atharva: Jab aap woh…Mwahhhhhh (makes a kissing sound) kar rahe the! (laughs) 😆

Krishna: Phirse?

Bani: Athrava! Tum sab dekh rahe the…Kya kaha tha Mr. Walia! (hits him in the arm lightly)

Atharva: Maine nahin dekha…(liar!) I covered my eyes…like this (covers his eyes with his hands..then peeps though his fingers) 😉

Jai: Badmaash!

Athrava: Papa….abhi farmhouse chale…wahaan party karte hai!

Bani: Aur ghar pe tumhari Jigyaasa auntie ne joh party di hai uska kya?

Jai: Ohhh god…Jigs has thrown the party? Sab usski ke dost hi aye honge...I think we should go to the farmhouse.

Atharva and Krishna: Yessssssss…Papa chaliye chaliye…masti karenge wahaan

Bani: Lekin Mr. Walia..ghar walen…phir sab presents bhi toh…

Jai (taking his phone out): I'll sort everything out. Urrrmmm…hellooo Tony…listen..upar kamre mein bed neeche presents rakhe hai un sab ko neeche gate ke paas le aana…

Bani (cutting in): Cupboard mein bhi presents hai.

Jai: Cupboards mein bhi kuch gifts hai…sab pack karna…aur urrm…woh ..Atharva aur Krishna ke kuch kapde, nightclothes…mere aur Bani ke liye bhi…hum farmhouse ja rahe hi…kal subah wapas ajayenge. Sab ready rakho…I'm picking it up soon. Aur haan abhi kisi ko batana nahin.

Tony: Ji sir…sab ready karta hoon

Bani: Aap bhi na…achanak se plan bana diya…

Krishna: Uffo Mama…accha plan hai…chalo chalo

Jai drove off to the Walia Mansion...and found Tony already waiting outside with their things. He helped Jai put everything into the boot of the car.

Jai: Tony..sunno…ghar main sab se kehdo…acchanak plan ban gaya farmhouse jaane ka..hum kal subah ayenge aur saath mein Christmas day enjoy karenge…just wanted to spend some time with Bani and the kids.

Tony: Ji sir keh doonga. Don't worry.

Jai: Great…(gets into his car)

Tony: Urrm sir….(bends down a little looks into the car)

Jai: Haan

Tony: Woh..Merry Christmas sir, kal chhuti haina meri…socha wish kar doon…Maam aapko bhi and you two!

Atharva: Mewy Cwistmas Tony uncle? Mere liye gift?? 😃

Bani: Atharva!

Tony (laughs): Atharva Baba and Krishu…tum dono ke presents gaadi mein rakh diye hai…kal kholna ok…Christmas ke din

Krishu: Love you Tony Uncle! Huggy Buggy?? (scrambles to the front by Jai and leans out of the window to hug him) 🤗

Atharva: Mein bhi huggy buggy doonga! (scrambles to the front too...whispers) Tina Auntie ko bhi huggy dena! 🤗

Tony eyes popped out!

Jai: Tina? Yeh kaun hai?

Atharva: Papa…Tony uncle ki Tina...unki girlfriend…chupkse milte hai kitchen mein…maine dekha hai…mein table ke neeche chhupa tha!

Jai: Really? This is interesting.

Tony: Sir..I….

Bani: Tony…tumhari girlfriend bhi hai? How sweet. Milwana kisi din

Tony 😳(red…smiles nervously…glares at Atharva who was grinning away cheekily) : Ji Maam…

Jai: Accha Tony chalte hai…Merry Christmas

On reaching the farmhouse…Atharva and Krishna rushed in…started jumping around on the sofa excitedly. Jai and Bani gathered some of the things from the boot and brought it inside.

Krishna: Papaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Jai: Kya hai beta…kyun chila rahi ho?

Krishna (looking around): Papa…yahaan Christmas tree toh hai hi nahin…Christmas ki tarah nahin lagta. 😔

Atharva: Sab yeh white white sheets rakhe hai…

Bani: Beta yahaan hum roz nahin aate na issiliye sab cheeze dhanke hue hai…abhi sab theek kar denge..thode candle wagera jalayenge…

Krishna (sitting on the floor crossed legged…resting her elbows on her knees pouting): Lekin…christmas tree nahin hai? Jigyaasa auntie ne kitna bada tree lagaya hai hamare ghar mein 😔

Jai: She has has she? Well I will have to do something about that. (calls up someone) Listen…I want u to send the biggest Christmas tree to my farmhouse, decorations and all… and make it fast… got that?

Athrava: Papa…your great!! Jiggy auntie se bhi bada Christmas tree hoga hamara! 👏

Krishna: Love uuuuuuuuuuu!!! Ab hum sab tree ko decorate karenge, Jiggy auntie ne mujhe karne nahin diya…she says…she says… I spoil things! 😔

Jai: Teri Jigyaasa Auntie ki aisi ki taisi. Yahaan meri Krishu apne haathon se tree ko sajaygi..mein bhi madat karunga tumhari.

Bani set off for the kitchen to start making their dinner…whilst Jai began rearranging the living room to make space for the Christmas tree. After that he went to the car to get the rest of their things, and some of the gifts. As he was coming back to the farmhouse a car had pulled up outside. Someone had come to drop off the tree.

Jai: Great! You're here. Thanks for coming down here so quickly. Krishuuuu…beta the Christmas tree is here!

Krishna: Yippeeeee!!!

Bani came out of the kitchen wiping her hands. She smiled seeing the beautiful green Christmas tree. The guy placed it in the corner and handed all the decorations to Krishna and Atharva then left.

Atharva: Mama…chalo tree ko decorate karte hai….(opening the bags…finding lots of different coloured tinsels, garlands and baubles inside)

Jai put the bags and gifts down on the table and watched as Bani, Krishna and Athrava began to decorate the tree. Krishna took out different coloured baubles and tied them to the tree as best she could…whilst Atharva wrapped gold and silver tinsel around the tree. Getting a little cheeky…Atharva peeled of some sticky tape attached it to some green coloured tinsel and slapped it onto Bani's backside when she was busy securing a decoration to the tree!

Jai burst out laughing. 😆

Atharva: Krishu...dekho Mama ki pooch! 😆

Krishu (laughing): Mama ki itni lambi pooch?? 😆😆

Bani: Atharva!! That's it…I'm gonna get u now…Mama ko tang karte ho! (starts chasing him around the room. Grabbing him… then giving a big wet kiss on his cheek…he really hated that)

Atharva: Mommmm!!! Yuk!! (wiping his cheek)

Bani(looks at Jai who was still laughing): Aur aap itna kyun has rahe hai? (Jai stopped laughing) Kuch madat bhi kijiye hamari tree ko decorate karne mein

Krishu (admiring something in her hands): Mama…yeh angel kitni pyaari hai…isse kahaan lagaye hum?

Bani: Sach mein bahut pyaari angel hai…bilkul meri Krishu jaise pyaari…(wraps some gold coloured tinsel around her head, like a halo. Then pulls the pooch off her backside and wraps it around her neck..like a scarf.) I think we should put it right at the top of the tree, she will look very pretty there

Athrav: Haan…righttttt at the top. Main karta hoon…(grabs a chair)

Bani: Oh no u don't…you will topple the tree over…let me. Mr. Lazy bones toh nahin karenge…bas dekhte rahenge!😡

Jai (thinks): Dekhne ki cheez ho toh dekhte hi rahnge na!

Bani, tucked the end of her saree into her petticoat… then stood up on the chair...to reach the top of the tree. Jai, grinned watching his wife stretch up. Her creamy waist was a feast for his eyes. His hands itched to touch her. 😳

Atharva: Mama..thoda upar..

Krishu: Mama can't reach!!

Jai: Urr..need help? (Jai moved forward placed his cold hands on her waist…making her scream!)

Bani: MR. WALIA. Your hands are sooo coldd!! Haath hataye!! Gir jaungi! The tree will topple over too. 😲

Jai: It won't. I am holding you very securely…Angel ko laga do jald se jald then I'll move my hands..

Bani quickly put the Angel on the top...then Jai put her down…pecked her cheek lovingly. Bani shot a look at him…rubbed her waist…where his cold hands had been.

Jai (spots Krishna handling a bunch of fairy lights): Krishuuu…I'll help you with that. Lets wrap it around the tree like this…and I'll plug it in right here…(switched the lights on) There you go.

Krishna and Atharva: Wow!!! Lights kitni acchi lag rahi hai.

Bani: It looks beautiful!

Jai: I think our tree is looking fabulous…better than Jigyaasa's anyday! Just need to put all your gifts under the tree now. Come and help me bring them over.

Krishu (happy): Ok Papa. 😃

Krishna and Atharva went over to the table grabbed some of the boxes of gifts and began placing them under the tree. Krishna spotted a big box with her name on it. She bit her lower lip…then tried to rip the side to peep inside but….

Jai (slapping her hand gently): No peeking! Kal Christmas ke din gifts kholna hai ok

Atharva: Papa can't we open one gift…pweese??

Jai: No! Kal subah khola…zyaada mazza ayega!

Bani: Ok…I'm going back to the kitchen now…you guys finish up in here.

As Bani turned to go to the kitchen…she noticed a couple of gift boxes on the table. She gasped…ran towards it. 😲 Jai looked up at her that moment…saw her hiding a box under her saree. She turned back and smiled nervously at him before heading off to the kitchen quickly. Jai looked on at her curiously.

When Jai had finished putting up the rest of the decorations in the living room, he set out a board game for the kids while he went of to flirt with his wife in the kitchen. 😉

Jai: Hey Bani..kya kar rahi ho kitchen mein? (wrapping his arms around her waist from behind…nuzzling her neck) 🤗

Bani: Aata gund rahi hoon. I managed to get some food supplies from next door. I have a family to feed na. They must be hungry.

Jai (nuzzling even more): Hmmm…very hungry. Not for food though. (runs his hands down her arms..to her hands into the bowl of flour…entwines his fingers with hers in the flour mixture.) 😳

Bani (squirming): Kya kar rahe hai? Bacche aa jayenge. There is a time and a place for this Mr. Walia. 😳

Jai drops sweet kisses along her neckline…making her tingle all over. She turns around…looks him in the eyes, pleading him to stop. His eyes were dark and mischievous. He smiled at her…bringing her closer to him. He rested his hands on her waist…whilst she held his face and brought him closer for long and drugging kiss. They moved back quickly...hearing Krishna's and Atharva's voices calling out for them.

Bani (flustered…turned back around to continue mixing the flour 😳): Aap…aap…jaye mein khana jaldi banakar aati hoon. Baache aa rahe hai…go see what they want.

Jai (resting his chin on her shoulder): Can't I stay here and help? I won't get in the way…(rubbing his cheek against hers)…I promise

Atharva: Hohhhhhhhh!! Yahaan kya hua?? 😲

Jai (moved back.): What? 😲

Atharva: Krishu..dekho Mama Papa dono ke chehre white white!

Bani and Jai both looked at each other. Noticed the flour all over them.

Bani: Woh….actually….

Jai: FLOUR FIGHTTTTTTTT (gets more flour from the bowl and throws it on Bani)

Bani: Mr. Walia!

Jai: We don't have snow in Mumbai…but we can improvise right? Aata se kaam chala lenge!

Atharva: Yayyyyyyyy!!! (rushes to them and gets a handful of flour throws it at Krishna)

Krishna: Oyeee meri dress kharaab kardi 😡…I am gonna get u too! (sticks her tiny fingers in the bowl…then chases Atharva…gets him on the head. She giggles and runs back for more flour…gets Jai and Bani too. 😆

Bani: Oh my god! Look at my kitchen!! 😲 Khaana bana tha mujhe…look at it all.

Jai (grabs her): Forget cooking today. I have ordered some great food should be on its way….aaj sirf masti right baccha log! 😃

Atharva and Krishna: Right Papa!!! Lets get Mama.

Bani: No..NOOOO….

Bani ran around the kitchen then into the living room…trying to dodge the three of them but they eventually had her cornered and covered her with flour! Krishna and Atharva found it rather amusing seeing their Mom look like a ghost. 😆 Jai thought she looked rather cute…but could see she was mad at him. Jai laughed at her even more…before quietening down…and handing her a gift box that he had kept aside.

Jai: Bani sorry for the mess. I'll clear up. Yeh lo..tumhare liye…jao change karke aao.

Bani (smiling instantly): Saree hai? (Jai nodded) Bas abhi aye. But when I come back..want this mess cleared ok.

Jai: Anything you say Madam.

Bani went off to change in the red coloured saree Jai had bought for her. Jai and the kids cleared up in the kitchen and living room. Brushing the flour under the rug and under the tables out of Bani's sight. They didn't want to spend Christmas Eve cleaning now did they.

When Bani came back out….the entire room had been transformed. It was extremely tidy again. The food he had ordered had arrived and he had set it up on the floor like a picnic in front of the fireplace. Jai had lit some candles around the room too.

Bani: Mr. Walia….

Atharva: Mama!! Dekho yeh sab humne kiya for u eps…peciallly. U like it Mama? 😊

Bani: Its beautiful. U really cleaned up the room well.

Atharva winked at Jai and Krishna! 😉

Jai (stood up…put his hand out to Bani. She smiled and came forward placing her hand in his. He twirled her around) You look gorgeous. What do you say kids? Mama looks pretty?

Krishna: Bahutttt pwetty

Bani: Thank You! You all look very good too. (noting they all had changed into fine clothes too)

Jai and Atharva had worn a similar outfit, blue jeans, white shirt with a deep brown waistcoat. Both looked very smart. Krishna wore a red and black velvet dress and looked really cute with two pigtails.

They joked and laughed as they sat down to ate. Jai had ordered lots of cakes, snacks and ice cream. It was Christmas after all. Atharva and Krishna really enjoyed all the party food….continuously licking their fingers. They even pulled a few crackers for fun. Atharva really enjoyed pulling the crackers because each one had a joke and a little toy. They also contained party hats.. which Atharva very happily put on everyone's heads.

After their meal…Atharva snuggled up with Bani

Atharva: Mama…neend aa rahi hai hum sau jaye? (resting his head in Bani's lap)

Bani: Itni jaldi? Ur always last to go to bed. Aaj kya hua? (running her hand through his soft hair)

Krishna: Mama..pata hai…hum jaldi sau jayenge na…toh Santa jaldi aayenge aur hamare bed ke paas bahut saare toys rakenge. (sits in Jai's lap)

Bani: Oh I see…and who told u that?

Krishna: Papa!

Jai looked at Bani and winked at her. She knew he was upto to something!

Krishu (gets up pulls Bani and Atharva along): Chalo na… night night time! Santa phir nahin ayenge! And I want lotttts of toys in the morning!

Jai followed Bani and the kids to the room. He secured two Christmas stockings at the end of their beds then tucked both of them in bed once Bani changed them into their pyjamas. Bani kissed them softly…caressing their heads as they slowly drifted off to sleep. She stayed with them for some time, whilst Jai headed back out into the living room.

Once Krishna and Atharva were sound asleep Bani quietly left the their room and went out into the living to see Jai but was surprised to find the room in complete darkness.

Bani: Mr. Walia?

Jai: Hmm…right here baby…right by u.

Bani heard a soft click and the lights to the Christmas tree came on again illuminating the room in beautiful soft colours. Soft music began to play too.

Jai held his hand out to Bani for a dance and they gently began to dance. Jai twirled her around a number of times…before bringing her close flush against his body with her hands clasped behind her…handcuffing them! (Sheenu those handcuffs are here!)

Bani (shocked 😲): Mr. Walia..what…oh my god! Where did u get those?

Jai: So these handcuffs were my Christmas gift? And you were hiding them…hey? (pulls her flush against him) Kya iraada tha Bani Maam ka?? (Bani went quiet) Well I am waiting for an explanation.

Bani: I was going to Fed-Ex them to your office!

Jai: Fed-Ex them?

Bani: Aur kya karti? Your always stuck to your office desk these days, thought you may as well handcuff yourself to it. Hamesha kaam kaam kaam 😡…humme toh jaise bhool hi gayi. 😔 Do mahinon se aap subah jaldi jaate hai…raat ko der se aate hai…I don't get anytime with you like before. Issiliye…

Jai: You bought me handcuffs? (laughs 😆) Baniiii…tum bhi na….(sees a tear rolling down her cheek) Ohhh baby…don't cry…(gently wipes the tear away..holds her face) I'm sorry…I know haven't been around you much lately or the kids…lekin kaam bhi toh zaroori hai.

Bani: Mujhse bhi zyaada? Bacchon se bhi? 😭

Jai: No. Lekin yeh sab tum logo ke liye hi toh kar raha hoon.

Bani: Phir bhi…sab kuch toh hai hamere paas aur kitni mehnat karni hai aapko. Mujhe sirf aap chahiye..kaafi hai. (rest her head against his chest)

Jai: Want just me do u? Well….(starts to tickle her..making her jump and move away) guess we will have to do something about that… (tickles her around the waist)

Bani (backs up against the wall): Mr. Walia…please…(giggles) haath khol dijiye na 🤣

Jai (moves his face close to hers…runs his fingers through her hair…then kisses her hard, before moving back and staring at her once again. ❤️

Jai: I will set u free…but first tell me…where's my other xmas gift? (nuzzles her neck playfully..tickling her in the process)

Bani: I didn't get u any other gift! (laughs) 🤣

Jai: Meri Bani mujhe gift na de? Aisa kabhi hua hai? When I was getting the gifts from the car I saw two gifts for me…the handcuffs I found in the kitchen…where's the other one. Now come on out with it..or else….(tickles her even more)

Bani (laughs): But I don't want to give it to u now. Achi gift nahin hai. Gusse mein laye thi main! (Jai tickles her more) 😆Ok…ok...batati hoon…please stop…its in the bread bin…in the kitchen

Jai went over to the kitchen, came back out with a small gift box and looked at it curiously.

Bani: Haath kholiye na…my wrists are hurting.

Jai (quickly went over…freeing her wrists): Oh I'm sorry. Should have told me it was hurting… (rubs her wrists gently)

Bani (takes the box off him): Ulloo banaya! 😛 Your not getting this gift! (runs around the room) Nahin doongi! 😛

Jai: Baniiiiiii…!! 😲

Jai ran around the house trying to get Bani and the box…but she was too fast for him. So he pretended to slip and yelled out loudly..crashing to the floor…with a loud thud! Bani turned back to see Jai on the floor…holding his head.

Bani: Mr. Walia!!! Oh my god!!! 😲

She ran to him...knelt down to his face, which he was covering with his hands.

Bani: Oh my god…I'm sorry…Mr. Walia…apna haath hataye..kahaan chhot lagi hai?

Jai: Kahin pe bhi nahin!!! Gotcha! (grabs the box back!) Haha!! (gets up and tosses the box about in the air!) 😛

Bani: That's not fair! Give me that back! I don't want you to see what's inside! 😔

Jai: Too bad. I'm gonna open it!

Bani: Your…your not supposed to open presents before Christmas! Abhi abhi bacchon ko bhi yaheen keh rahe the na!

Jai: Adults can open presents! 😛

Jai ripped open the gift wrap…Bani gasped! 😲Jai's stared at the contents of the box..then picked out the item with his fingers…hanging it front of Bani.

Jai: Red silk boxers?? Reindeer print wale woh bhi?? (bursts out laughing! Bani turned a dark shade of red 😳) Bani darling…kya chal raha tha tumhare dimaag mein. Xmas ke kya kya plans banay the tumne? First the handcuffs then the red boxers?

Bani: Woh…. 😳

Jai: Yeah…tell me I am waiting for an explanation

Bani (still red as a tomato): I…didn't make any plans…I was…I was angry with u when I bought them. Thought I'd get you a bad Christmas presents, I was going to get you Santa printed socks…but then I saw these.. . thought they looked even sillier but cute. Aap aap ne toh gifts ka kuch aur hi matlab nikal liya hai.

Jai: Do you blame me? (laughs…admires the boxers closely) You know Bani I must say they are a cute pair of boxers (goes closer to her) but I think I will look even cuter wearing them..what say! (what say Kanta, Rabi?)

Bani: Aap pehnenge? 😲

Jai (lifting Bani up in his arms!): Baby, if it makes u happy then sure I'll wear them. 😉
Tum kaho toh har Christmas pe ab pehnunga! (Bani laughed hard)

Bani: Bahut kharaab hai aap! I want to be angry with you…punish you… for not being with me this past couple of months…but I can't. Aap aise kuch keh dete hai…kar dete hai..ke mere dil kamzor hojaata hai. 😳You always end up making me laugh.

Jai: Hmmm…mera andaaz hi kuch aisa hai. 😉But I agree with you sazaa toh mujhe milni chahiye mujhe., firstly for being a bad husband these past few months and secondly for being a very bad Santa today! 😆( huskily…carrying her to their room) How about I take you to MY grotto…I'll wear the boxers for you…(whispers) you can even handcuff me to the bed….(laughs) Thennnnn you can punish me all you like. Haiii the thought of being punished by my darling wife….(dreams)

Bani (burying her face in the crook of his neck): Aap bhi na…kuch bhi kehte hai… 😳

Jai: Ab sharmao mat, I know your looking forward to this punishment just as much as I am. Merry Kiss-Mass Sweetheart! 😳Ho! Ho! Ho!

Bani (laughs): Merry Kiss-mas! 😳
