It was snowing rather heavily than usual. The streets looked as if the mistress of the snow had placed her white gown on the it. London was never so cold as such......but it was high time the citizens had to stay home and enjoy their hot chocolates.
Angellina was on the phone with her grandma, who ws in the hospital for almost a week apparently suffering from food poisoning due to the rotten pasta she had tried at mrs. Wutherson's birthday party the other day. "I know granny, but you need not put so much stress on you rhealth like that, you should try and maintain a good diet", instructed Angellina.
"What is the use? I will be gone by next year, why stay on diet", said her grandma.
"Stop saying like that! You know that you'r e just 71yrs and you still have to live for another twenty years." cried Angellina.
"I know sweetheart, but you never know.....what might happen tomorrow", replied her grandma. 'Anyways tell me about your new work. Do you like your collegues?"
"I haven't joined it yet, its tomorrow.......and I'm really nervous."said Angellina.
"Don't be.....you have the Steve blood in you and above all.........don't forget, you are Sarah Parkinson Steve's grand-daughter!" consoled Angellina's grandma.
"Thanks grandma.....you are the only one who cares", said Angellina.
The talk continued for another half an hour during which Agellina told grandma about her days in London and the people she met within these few months and in return her grandma told her about the Christmas preparations in Edinburg.
After Angellina kept down the phone, she went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Caribbean rice with fried chicken was her favourite.
