"It hasn't sunk in yet," blushes the bubbly Shradha Nigam. Shradha and boyfriend Karan Grover tied the knot in Goa on December 2.

It wasn't a wedding planned over many months for this beautiful couple. It was all done in a few days. But everyone's very happy with the decision including their families.

So how did it all happen, we ask the new bride. "Karan's family had planned a trip to Goa. We were there. I convinced my family to come over too. And that's when we surprised them all. Of course they had a clue that we'd make some announcement. They probably thought we'd get engaged. Our parents are very cool and they were overjoyed with our decision to get married."
The wedding happened in a Gurudwara in Goa and her outfit too was put together in just a few days.

Did she always dream of a sudden wedding? "I always knew my wedding would be a low key affair with not many functions. In the whole hustle bustle of a wedding, you miss the connect and for me that's very important. I just knew I could never be standing on a stage decorated with flowers looking like a flower myself! I really think it's beautiful, but I knew I didn't relate to it." Life hasn't changed much for her. "Nothing's changed at all. I wear the same clothes. Yes, my residence has changed now," she says.
Honeymoon will have to wait for a while. Karan's busy with his telly show Dil Mil Gaye and has two films in his kitty. He'll begin shooting for the movies soon. "I've told Shradha I don't have the dates for the honeymoon," laughs Karan. "But we'll definitely plan one sometime soon," he says. A low-key wedding was also something Karan always wanted. "I was never interested in the dhoom dhaam and I really wanted something like this," he says.
Families were present in Goa for the wedding, but friends were not. And now is the time to make up to them. "Oh! Our friends are really bugged! We have to make up to them soon," he says.
So has the thought that he's married finally sunk in? "Yes, it has," he says adding, "Shradha of course is still in a daze!" For him too, life hasn't changed at all, except that he now sees "Shradha wearing bangles!"
